Mental Health Clinic of Passaic

I was a patient of 12 years old in 1969. I told my counselor that my mother's new boyfriend was sexually harassing me and she said I was prejudiced and that my recently departed father was no good. The B.F. backed off somewhat and my mother stopped taking me there. No follow up. The B.F. showed porn to a ten year-old neighbor and said disgusting things to my girlfriends. In my opinion, kids need a lawyer to explain foster home options.

Bro this clinic is absolutely unbelievable. I remember it took around three months to finally see a counselor online, and then when a counselor, Michelle, was finally available, I'd only see her every other Monday or so for around 45 minutes. On top of that, the counselor would constantly go on vacation/breaks for weeks at a time. Also, if I'm being honest, I didn't really find her all that helpful. I could get the same advice from friends/family or even ChatGPT and save myself time and money. Would NOT recommend.

This is the worst place I’ve ever been towards when I had Dr. Bhalla, Azuka Ofodike, Dr. Mangunay, Lissa Edmond, and Cassandra Alexandre. It all started in 2000. The first I saw Dr. Bhalla and he said let me give him a medication so, I can shut up. After all this I got made fun of my weight in school and at the consultation where Dr. Bhalla said I was fat, how did your mother got you out of the vagina and I walked funny and so, on jokes that made me feel awful. After I’ve explained all the problems at school he said it was all in my head. Go to the internist they are for anxiety and depression, I only prescribe pills. After, all the complaints I’ve made he said I am crazy and it was in my head. I’ve even complained to Rosalina Santos the director and she makes excuses that he is the right doctor. They are no more doctors and so, on. 18 years passed and they’ve put me with Asuka Ofodike which, she was the same. 7 months passed and I saw Dr. Mangunay which, she was nice first and then I’ve discussed a shower scene with my sister and said if, I were your mother I would kick you out of the house. She said, I can say that and I’ve worked here. A year passed and I’ve seen Lissa Edmond with a foul mouth saying that the abilify doesn’t cause the sweatiness and fainting that I’ve experienced. She then put me on risperdal to leave the clinic and see me suffer. 7 months passed and I’ve seen Cassandra Alexandre and she was the worst not knowing what medication too put me on. See these people except Miriam Beauchamp that got me out of there were horrible 😤. I do not recommend this clinic because these people are rude and very inconsiderate towards patients. Would not recommend 0 stars.

This was the first place I ever went to for my mental health. I never felt heard and it was always my fault when the prescribed medications made me feel a lot worse than I did before. Cassandra kept giving me the wrong type of medications for my specific condition and told me that I wasn't giving them enough time to work, even though they were making me mentally and physically sick. I really believe she did not know what she was doing. The therapist there dismissed my issues and somehow, again, my trauma was my fault and I had to just get over it without processing what happened to me. Only good thing I have to say is that the front office staff were kind and considerate to me. I've been seeing an amazing new mental health team elsewhere for over two years now who actually listens and supports me, and it made me realize how awful this place treated me.

I know her name but what I do know is that I do not like the receptionist's tone and attitude I don't understand what the problem is, If I'm calling and I tell you I would like to know if I can't set up an appointment and if you accept my insurance, why would you tell me yes and then hang up? Then I call again to say I'd like to make an appointment, and her tone is the same: very short, immediately tells me to hold on, and transfers me to a voicemail box. Just a reminder: if you don't have customer service skills or mannerisms, or don't like working for or with people, then don't work there. Because there's a certain level of respect and etiquette you have to have even if you don't like people, please be for real

My son is a patient here for around 6-7 years the best team in the front the ladies are great and DR. Williams 100% recommend she is the best!

Please, take this advice to heart: LOOK ELSEWHERE, go to church and turn to God, and work closely with a trusted PCP. The best people who work here are less than 4 — needle in a haystack. You will be humiliated, belittled, and treated unkindly as the wind changes direction. The best have resigned. They need new powerful direction or a complete shut down. Patients cannot be spoken to or treated in the manner that they do. Please, heed this warning and take care of yourselves.

This place is great, They are very understandable with patients and parents. I have 14 years using their service for my daughter. Dr Williams is phenomenal, Comprehended… Thanks again
