Montare at the Lake

I had contacted their billing department nearly 60 days ago and left a voicemail and never got a call back. I have spoken with the general line at least twice since then regarding billing concerns and still haven’t heard back. I don’t want my bill to get sent to collections due to their negligence.

They helped me in a big way during a time that I needed it the most. I appreciate the time and care that was given and I am glad to be affiliated with this group of people.

Yesterday was the first anniversary of my leaving Montare and I can say wholeheartedly that it led to where I am now, with straight As in college, a full time job, and a good social life. I had a wonderful experience with caring staff and a variety of therapy techniques. I connected with my peers at the facility and have kept in contact with most of them to this day! It was hard work, but entirely worth it. Montare works hard to make sure it’s as smooth as possible, and they do an excellent job.

Montare for me was everything I honestly cannot express how happy and in gratitude I feel for Montare Behavioral Health to exist. From their drivers that pick you up in any state to the entire staff in the Lakehouse are amazing. Also they made me feel like home and asked me for my needs to be comfortable while staying over there. They just changed my life for good. I went there with a lot of struggles and I just reborn in this place. Montare has been restructuring and I just feel everyone deserves to go to this place and give it an opportunity! They prepare you again for the outside world how to handle emotions and they are very understanding in all your needs and the treatment you need. The house is huge and beautiful the rooms are very comfortable the food is extremely delicious there is always snacks and the exposure therapy every weekend is great. The therapies during the week are fantastic and very knowledgeable every therapist and doctor bring good material and help for us to understand better and find our comfortable way to heal. I will always remember this place with love and so much happiness.Thank you Montare for all what you did for me.

Montare is fantastic. The house was beautiful, the staff was AMAZING, the food was incredible and I left a newer, better version of myself! I hit the reset button in a major way and got down to business as far as working on all my own stuff. I truly believe everyone - and I mean EVERYONE, should come here for at least one stay. I’d like to come annually for a little tune up. Thank you, Lake House crew, I love you and miss you. Truly amazing place.

Montare at the Lake Encino was truly great experience for me. I stayed there from 12/30/24 to 1/31/25 to work on my mental health. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported and cared for in every way. The house itself is beautiful, with an amazing view of Encino Lake that brought so much peace to the environment. The facilitators provided incredible insight and education, which helped me understand and process so much about my mental health. The therapists were outstanding—I was able to meet with them 2-3 times a week, and those sessions were truly impactful. The psychiatrist is phenomenal and really knows her stuff, which made me feel confident in the care I was receiving. The nurse was the sweetest person, and the mental health workers were all so kind and helpful. The clinical group meetings felt like such a safe space to open up. It was comforting to hear others share their insights and experiences, and even though our situations were different, we could still relate to each other in so many ways. Those connections and shared moments really made a huge difference in my journey. The other groups, like yoga, fitness, sound baths, acupuncture, and art therapy, were absolutely phenomenal. Each one provided a unique way to heal and connect with myself, and they complemented the clinical work beautifully. The food was absolutely delicious, and the snack selection was always on point—those little things really made a difference during my stay. Montare helped me in ways I can barely put into words. They guided me in making realizations I’d struggled with for years and helped me connect the dots in my life. I went in with an open mind and a willingness to surrender to the process, and because of that, I got so much out of it. I’m truly grateful for this experience and believe everyone could benefit from this kind of deep dive into mental health. If you’re considering Montare at the Lake Encino, I can’t recommend it enough—it’s a place of real healing and progress. Wish I didn’t have to leave!

First of all the pics. The tan one where it looked like the life was sucked out of me was before Montare. The other two was after I'd been at Montare for 3 months working the routine wheel. That's what worked for me routine. I must tell you the staff was so influential in assisting me developing my own personalized self care daily routine routine I just love it. In doing so it got me back into returning to the work force despite my military disability. The only regret I have about Montare I have is that my stay had to come to an end but I must say they geared me with all the necessary tools to be successful upon discharge. So far it's been a week and I'm feeling great I just know it that I'm going to be successful so much that I will lead into a career of mental behavior because I fell in love with the field but more so with the people at Montare and those are the kind of people I want to sound my self with everyday for the rest of my life. Thanks Montare you made me the best of me that I could ever be and I love your entire staff for giving me the princess treatment by buying me a suitcase even because you refused to let me leave with my new ward robe in trash bags. Thank you for all your love. My daughter thanks you she trusted you so much with me. Thank you. The tree of life is my art work not bad. Oh and I I learned to do makeup. Love ya Montare.
