The staff is caring, cooperative and helpful when any little thing is needed. Nursing staff is very good, if you ask questions they take the time to answer those questions. Groups are long but you can get a lot out of them if you are willing to participate. Counselors are awesome and will do one on ones if you request them. It is only a 5-7 day program since it is a crisis center but they will help you find other programs if you want them. No, it’s not a Hilton but your not on vacation your there for a start in your drug, alcohol , mental health rehabilitation. Keep that in mind. My experience was very good but you have to be willing to put in some work.

Great staff, very knowledgeable and helpful, wonderful facility

This place is a joke! My wife and I left today, this isn’t a place to go and detox! They are so hurt for people the let my wife and I in the same facility which typically is taboo. They expect you to go to 10 “meetings” a day while sick and detoxing. The beds are paper thin the food is garbage. I could only imagine how much they’re going to try and bill my insurance? with the garbage treatment we were given. Thanks for nothing! ZERO STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION.

Northwoods Health System was amazing! Norm breaks things down so anyone can understand it. Rose oozes with compassion. Unfortunately Sharon was wonderful. I lost my temper once while they were trying to make me go to group while still in major withdrawals. She descalated the situation quickly and I had to go back and apologize.Sharin was helpful in every way.Lola made Intake smooth and felt nonjudgemental.She is such a sweet heart. Im 7mo clean and all began there. Forever grateful for the staff❤️ Remember when you see the negative reviews that these folks are going thru a very hard time.

They tell me when I’m at the shower. My ride will be here within five minutes so I rush to get out of shower, my anxiety went straight up and now I’m waiting an hour and a half later. I have been here a week and I am no better off leaving and I was coming in…..

Staff is not trained for their position after telling them I need sober living I had to wait 4 days to even apply and now my 7th day is coming an there telling me about a homeless shelter in wheeling which blows my mine. I came so I didn't relapse if I get put on the streets I'll be right back to using.

I had a great experience at Northwood, the staff is amazing all of them. The nurses are so helpful, I was in a crisis and everyone was so welcoming. I can't express how awesome this place is and I have been to many facilities none like this one. I highly recommend. Thank you so much for all your love. Jamie Edwards
