Oceans Behavioral Hospital Pasadena

Sad to say that the problem is with the head of staff, such as the Nursing Director. His behavior is very unprofessional. Heard him screaming at staff in front of patients.

I am very grateful to Oceans Behavioral Hospital in Pasadena, TX. I am especially grateful to Finie John, the Discharge Planner, who was extremely professional; he was very diligent about keeping me informed of everything that was happening with my mother during the time she was there. When I needed help for my family, oceans was available. The whole admission process was smooth, the intake nurse made the admission process easy. All of the nurses were kind and attentive. They provided good care. To name a few Mark and Finie John. Finie is the discharge nurse and he was very informative during the stay all the way until discharge. The difficult part was getting any feed back from doctors. I suggest that if the doctor or designated team member can please give the family an update once a day, it would help us understand what’s going and treatment plan. The nurses have a lot on their plate, and doctors are in a better position to give a well informed update.

The staff is absolutely amazing. They are supportive for the families and very helpful to the patients

They provided really good care for my mother! Finie John Discharge Planner was exceptionally great! He went above & beyond with assisting and guiding me with care and resources!

My Dad its been is this location for 3 weeks..i will like to take the time to thank every staff member on this location for how well he's been treated i know it wasn't easy but i had peace of mind..i will like to thank Mr.Finnie for working so hard and compation to find the right place to be be placed after his time was up here and go somewhere else i deeply apreciate you sir.. ms.Asheley thank you ..you both made a big difference working with me on this hard process..thank you so much..great team great humans being God bless

I had a positive experience with Oceans Behavioral Health in Pasadena while my mother was receiving care there. The staff treated her with kindness and respect, and I’m grateful for the role the facility played during a very difficult time for our family. The main reason I’m writing this review is to recognize Savannah, who served as my mother’s caseworker. There were some lapses in communication earlier in the process, which can be stressful when you’re trying to navigate a loved one’s care. However, once Savannah took over, everything changed. She went the extra mile to help me obtain my mother’s diagnosis, communicated with the medical team on my behalf, and worked diligently to help us secure an appropriate long-term placement. Her responsiveness, compassion, and willingness to advocate made a real difference. Supporting families through situations like this is not easy, and Savannah’s effort and professionalism truly stood out. I’m very appreciative of her help and wanted to make sure her work was acknowledged.

My father has left that facility 2xs covered in urine and feces! I have called and filed police reports, they will keep your loved one sedated and out of it!! If you don't have a brain that works they will take advantage! The worst nastiest, unhealthiest place I've ever seen. Please take your loved ones OUT!!!
