Absolutely the best rehab experience of many! Feels like home and a family they truly care and the program taught me a lot! Counselors are great! Has a professional music studio! Everything is upscale! Thank You so much Vanity

How am I not surprised that this is an Ochsner hospital? Seems like every Ochsner facility I go to is horrible. They have zero compassion for their patients. This particular facilty admitted my friend's mother into ICU. She passed away there. When I went with my friend, to claim the body, we walked into the most macabre scene I have ever witnessed in real life. It was straight out of a horror movie. The nurses were standing at the nurses station and pointed to the room my friend's mom was in. Noone prepared my friend for what she was about to see. Her mother's body had already set into rigor mortise. Her mouth was open, and a look of agony was etched into her face, like she died screaming. My friend tried to close her mom's mouth, but it was stuck in a silent, morbid scream, her face twisted in anguish. It was heartbreaking. I couldn't stay in the room. Not once did a nurse offer condolences or even do anything besides stand there and stare at us. It was So horrible. I wouldn't wish this hospital on my worst enemy.

I took my husband to the ER on the afternoon of 5/31/25. Everyone was wonderful. The nurses and doctor took great care of him.

I really never do this but I’m his was just not right… went in for severe pain ( I am nauseated from the pain ) from my endometriosis, & 6cm cyst on my left ovary, and my period. ( that I started today ) Along with passing huge blood-clots and an insane amount of blood. The male nurse was very rude, and made the comment “ you don’t have to be here you can go home “ when I made a comment that I was very uncomfortable & in pain I needed a little time to walk to the bathroom to give them urine. I bleed through my period diaper/underwear ( because I am bleeding very much ) and bled all over the bed and myself, so I then had to go clean up, i wasn’t given any medicine, still after an hour being there and having to get up constantly to go wherever they sent me. When the doctor does finally come in, he tells me I have a large ovarian cyst ( which I told him I knew about and I am having surgery on the 24th to remove my ovary and some more of the endometriosis ) he also tells me I have a bad UTI, then proceeded to tell me it wasn’t a medical emergency what I went in for, because the pain that has me in tears throwing up he’s never experienced! And since I didn’t need a blood transfusion, and wasn’t “ bleeding out “ because my RBC was normal, I practically shouldn’t have gone in. ( Mind you I just started bleeding TODAY & I have had blood transfusions before & this I told him. still wasn’t given meds at this point, he went write up my discharge paper& the nurse brought me antibiotics and nausea meds & still in severe pain, I had to get up and walk to my grandparents car to go home ( because they had to go bring me because I was in way too much pain to even drive myself there ) feeling the same way I went in. And I’m still up now and haven’t slept any because I’m hurting and just so uncomfortable! I’m highly disappointed in our Kaplan Hospital & I won’t be back and neither will my children. Shame on yall !!!!!!

Fantastic experience. Was taken in the back immediately- staff was so friendly! My favorite hospital. Also had my gallbladder surgery here by Dr Trahan. Excellent doctor and team.
