Located near the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Long Beach California, this residential center offers structured care for adult men recovering from drug and alcohol use. It began in the summer of 1976 when a group of Filipinos and Pacific Islanders faced growing substance issues in their communities and saw the need for a culturally aware program that reflected their languages and values. Build Connection Through Structure The center uses a peer-supported model that builds responsibility and connection through shared living and daily routines. Men engage in psychoeducation and receive both individual and group counseling, helping them understand their behaviors and strengthen emotional awareness while developing habits that support long-term recovery.
