Paradigm’s Malibu program empowers teens ages 12–17 with mental health and behavioral concerns to move beyond coping through clinical care, family connection, and structured support . Each client begins with a detailed psychological, medical, and nutritional assessment that shapes care from day one. With 4 individual therapy sessions each week, daily groups, and academic coordination, clients follow a structured routine that supports stability while staying engaged with school and family life. Apply Clinical Skills in Real-Life The Malibu program combines intensive clinical care with a setting just blocks from the ocean, where beach walks and outdoor time are built into the week . Clients participate in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychoeducation, mindfulness practices, and Family Systems work, alongside daily groups, psychiatric care, and family therapy that connect insights from sessions to real-life situations. Reset and Reconnect by the Coast Clients live in one of 4 Malibu homes, each serving up to 6 teens at a time. Shared living spaces, private or shared rooms, and outdoor areas create a more personal environment than larger programs. A pool, gardens, and nearby beaches give clients space to reset between sessions , while consistent daily schedules help them practice routines they can carry into home and school life. Continue Progress with Ongoing Support After completing the program, clients and families stay connected through alumni programming, follow-up sessions, and regular check-ins that reinforce progress made during treatment. Paradigm also offers access to aftercare services for up to 3 years , giving clients continued structure as they return to school, rebuild relationships, and apply the skills they practiced in a more independent setting.
