With a main office in Ellensburg and several nearby branch offices, Peers Rising offers recovery coaching, peer support, and community events for the Yakima Valley. Their team runs monthly lunch and learns about recovery, quarterly training on how to use Narcan to prevent overdoses, bingo nights, teen networking events, and crafting events. They have a team of staff, interns, and volunteers passionate about recovery from alcohol or drug addiction. Many of their leaders are in recovery and have deep roots in the Yakima Valley. Their therapeutic approach takes a 12-step basis. They can connect clients with local AA or NA events.
