Phoenix Rising Recovery

Phoenix Rising is the best recovery center I've been too. This place really taught me how to live my life without the use of drugs and alcohol. The structure and the staff are by far the best! I really enjoyed being there and completing my 90 day stay. My counselor was Paul and my therapist was Ed. I learned coping skills, recovery concepts, How to stay sober 1 day at a time, and many more ways to live a clean life. Today I'm 122 days sober and I'm happy! Thank you Phoenix and all staff.

I completed program at Phoenix rising la quinta on October 20,2024 it was the best experience of my life,I learned so much about the disease of addiction and what to do to stay clean that I had never even knew.thanks to the staff and the clients support I've started the best chapter of my life sober and I'm still clean today I have 4 1/2 months ,thank you GOD for phoenix rising,miss you all at La Quinta love you♥️👍

Phoenix rising saved my life at the ranch ... devon runs a very good program there and mike was the best counselor ive ever had .. both of the cooks there make amazing food ..there is so many good staff there i would like to thank them all helping me in my recovery and getting me were i am today.. forever greatful for that place

This program has some good groups, but the mental health support is not genuine—it’s just an extension of substance use treatment. The housing is run by clients, and the so-called “24-hour staffed” house is misleading, as staff often sleep or stay on their phones. It’s a lonely environment with no real respite for the spirit. Unfortunately, the program director, Ziggy, speaks poorly of clients and weaponizes personal information shared with her, using it as verbal abuse later on. You cannot leave or do anything without a “pass,” which is denied 90% of the time, even for productive activities. When I voluntarily went inpatient, I was assured I could return if I chose to leave. However, that promise was later broken. A staff member, who I personally had for release of information, denied ever saying she would pick me up, and Ziggy twisted the situation, accusing me of lying. Despite the fact that this information was passed down to me. Communication is terrible, and when I had nowhere to go but a hotel, I was denied re-entry altogether. I would not recommend this program to anyone seeking real mental health support. The sick are attempting to heal the sick, and the result is more harm than help.

This place is amazing! I went for the 30 day treatment plan. Tracy, Margo and the staff was loving and kind! The medical team was outstanding. The help you get there is top notch. Let’s not forget Jazzy she is an amazing chef who makes delightful meals! I have been able to continue with my sobriety using all the tools I learned. This place isn’t just about addiction it also does mental help. All around I highly recommend Phoenix Rising

I came into Phoenix Rising in very bad shape. As a former Marine, and a combat veteran, I suffer from PTSD and chemical dependency. The VA referred me here, and I’ll be forever grateful to Phoenix Rising and especially to the staff. I’ve been to a few treatment centers, and I know the difference between a treatment center and a profit center. Phoenix rising is the former. They held me accountable when I struggled to do so for myself, and gave a me a space to learn about myself, and time to do so as well. Luckily I have really good insurance, but I even know another veteran that they actually took in on scholarship when his insurance didn’t pay. They take pride in their work and are truly first class in everything they do, and I owe them a lot.
