This agency is terrible. They post online that they help the community but every time I call them they the cannot help. The “recepcionista” is rude NOT Compassionate and does not help at all. I use to like Centro Latinoamericano but since it became this useless agency I don’t. They have NO purpose in our city. MOVE.

I'm permanently disabled and would have lost my home of almost 9 years without assistance from Centro Latino Americano/ Plaza de Nuestro Comunidad. I've received assistance from many groups locally, and they are the *ONLY* group that has ever reached out to follow up and see how I was doing after receiving assistance, which means a lot to me. To anyone looking to help finance a charity, this is one group that should not be overlooked or underestimated. They act quickly, and do not waste time. I wish more people knew about this group and their work to help those in need. For the staff, thank you all so much for changing my life during a time when the odds were against me and I could have lost everything. (Apologies, my Spanish is amateur but I used Google translate) Tengo una discapacidad permanente y habría perdido mi hogar, donde viví casi 9 años, sin la ayuda del Centro Latino Americano/Plaza de Nuestra Comunidad. He recibido ayuda de muchos grupos locales, y son el *ÚNICO* grupo que me ha contactado para darme seguimiento y ver cómo estaba después de recibir la ayuda, lo cual significa mucho para mí. Para cualquiera que busque ayudar a financiar una organización benéfica, este es un grupo que no debe pasarse por alto ni subestimarse. Actúan con rapidez y no pierden el tiempo. Ojalá más gente conociera este grupo y su trabajo para ayudar a los necesitados. Para el personal, muchísimas gracias a todos por cambiar mi vida en un momento en el que todo estaba en mi contra y podría haberlo perdido todo.

Helpful, kind, and non judgemental people. They helped my family and I afford new housing when we were facing eviction, and gave us a head start . The lady working with us was very personable and treated us with real care and humanity. We later forwarded other people who were in a tight spot, and they had a wonderful experience as well.

Llame para preguntar si tenían ayuda para redactar una carta para la corte de llama small claim ahí me ayudaron unos años atrás y ahora pedí ayuda y me mandaron a la biblioteca supuestamente el gobierno está ayudando a ese centro para la comunidad latina k no sabemos inglés y un servicio que yo solicité antes en ese lugar ahora me lo niegan eso no es correcto especial mente por que el gobierno los está patrocinando! No? Porque reciben dinero por cada persona que ocupe ayuda con algún dwi y los mantienen lo más largo posible por que reciben ayuda del gobierno por cada persona que mantengan en esa institución y

Very misleading information on this listing! 1. This is NOT a photo of Centro Latino's building! The Center is in fact around the corner on 5th street, not on Blair. And, 2. this is NOT an Addiction Treatment Center, it is an Advocacy agency for people from Spanish speaking cultures. They offer many services, one of which is substance treatment. Please provide correct information! And perhaps use Spanish, for those people who are looking for this information but do not read English. Thank you.
