Levels of Care
Our admissions team will work with you to explore the right payment options based on your needs, ensuring you get the best possible treatment.
Offering intensive care with 24/7 monitoring, residential substance use treatment is typically 30 days. Length can range from 14 to 90 days.
In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.
Treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders, which affect the majority of individuals diagnosed, integrates care for mental health conditions with primary substance use. Personalized care plans are crafted to effectively address each condition simultaneously, optimizing the healing process.
Absolutely the best rehab experience of many! Feels like home and a family they truly care and the program taught me a lot! Counselors are great! Has a professional music studio! Everything is upscale! Thank You so much Vanity

I’ve unfortunately been to 9 inpatient treatments in Iowa and Hazelden in Minnesota. Powell is easily the best one in Iowa and their programming and staff are right on par with Hazelden. Which is one of the best (maybe the best) treatment in the USA. I highly recommend Powell if you or a loved one is serious about getting sober. They know what it takes to get sober and more importantly what to do to stay sober! 5 ⭐️
I had a horrible experience at Powell. 20 minutes into my appointment I was told they couldn't help me because of a mediation I take and would not discontinue, which is prescribed by my doctor. They walked me out and still charged me $200 without any help. I called the Program Director after receiving my bill and he never returned my call. The billing department manager was so rude and insisted I pay for a service I did not receive. They did admit they broke their own protocol on asking for medications prior to my appointment. They were still unwilling to make it right. I do not suggest using their services! To speak for my one star the receptionist was nice.
I’d been at Powell for a month and a half, they wanted to send me to a different place in another state and when they place never reached out to me after sending in the paperwork for it. They kicked me out because they didn’t believe that I never heard from them
Absoltley love everybody here its a wonderful program
Powell CDC saved my life in 2020 I will forever carry the values I learned from them, I'm very grateful and sober.
Powell CDC Saves Lives! If you or someone you know struggles with addiction, please give Powell a try.
They put me out 24 hours after being there. The staff lied one and I think they are prejudice I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else
Got me clean and sober
