Located in Media, Pennsylvania, the Recover & Develop (R&D) Center provides outpatient treatment for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and OCD. Through both Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and General Outpatient programs, R&D offers structured, personalized care designed for long-term stability. Therapies That Build Strength and Stability The center uses evidence-based therapies to guide each person’s recovery. Licensed clinicians actively apply cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, (MI) trauma-informed care, and family therapy to address root causes of addiction. Through individual, group, and family sessions, the team helps clients build coping skills, improve emotional balance, and strengthen relationships. Supportive Spaces and Daily Structure Although clients live at home or in sober living, the center promotes stable, supportive environments that encourage comfort, routine, and privacy. Clients participate in structured activities, skill-building sessions, and community-based groups that strengthen connection and accountability. The team helps individuals establish healthy habits, engage in meaningful activities, and build routines that support long-term recovery. The program also offers career counseling, family therapy, and couples counseling to help clients and their loved ones heal together. In addition, clients are encouraged to explore new interests, such as music, hiking, travel, and local community events.
