St Lukes Quakertown Behav Health Inpatient

I waited for 5 hours to be seen, realize that you know you guys go off of who needs it more first I get that but what bothered me about it was when I finally got back there that nurse who helped me said she's been here since 8:00 it was going on 7:00 at night. That's unacceptable and she also told me that they don't get breaks because of the way you guys schedule. That's completely unacceptable I'm not going to tell you the nurse's name but I'll tell you what she was one of the most friendliest nurses I've ever had and I've been the year quite a few times She seemed genuinely caring. You guys need to step it up and take better care of your employees and the people who come in for help. And I'm talking about you guys as in the corporate level of St Luke's. Because working almost 12 hours with no break and still be in as positive and nice as she was speaks wander to her character and that's how you lose people like that. She deserved a break. I'd love to tell you her name so she could be applauded for her services but I feel like she would get in trouble for telling me about the break situation so that's not going to happen but you do have some caring people on your staff and you need to take better care of them.

This hospital is negligent at best, and complacent at worst. Which makes me incredibly sad, because this was my PCP from the time I was born until I got married. Do not send your elderly loved ones here. I had one grandparent choke and pass away while here—no one answered the call button, not one nurse to be found in the hallway (I understand things like this happen, especially among the elderly. However, no nurse being accessible is absolutely unacceptable and that is the big issue here). Another grandparent is currently receiving less than adequate care. She needed to be changed, my sister sat with her for an hour…no nurse came. Not one nurse answered the call button, and again, not one nurse to be found in the hallway. Please, if you love your elderly family members do NOT send them here.

Had an absolutely horrible experience today with Dr. Mcilvain. I needed to schedule a day of appointment to get help with a bad cold I'm dealing with since I need to get back to work tomorrow. I was assigned to Dr. Mcilvain because he was the only doctor available since my PCP was not in today. When I went in to see him and told him I was there for help with my cold and sore throat, he proceeded to talk to me about my weight even though I'm already in a program for that with another doctor. He didn't even address my cold and instead gave me a test for my A1-C before I could even accept or deny it. And if he had even read my chart, he would've seen that I'm already getting my levels tested on a regular basis with another doctor at St. Luke's. Nothing Dr. Mcilvain wanted to discuss had anything to do with why I was there today - which was getting treatment for my cold and sore throat. Instead he just wanted to discuss my weight and kept asking to put me on a weight loss drug. Absolutely disgusting!!!!! The worst treatment from a doctor I've ever received!!! I've been a patient at St. Luke's all my life and really like my primary care doctor. But this man was a horrible excuse for a doctor. DO NOT EVER SEE DR. MCILVAIN unless you just want to be told your fat, get procedures done you don't ask for, and get pushed weight loss drugs. Truly my worst experience yet.

my brother in law was admitted a few weeks ago for suicidal ideation, he tried to kill himself IN YOUR HOSPITAL, and then you people discharged him 3 DAYS LATER because his insurance would only cover a certain amount of time there. Well guess what, he tried to kill himself AGAIN and now he’s on a ventilator and is fighting for his life in another hospital. You people need to be sued.

I'd give 0 if I could l. After delivery of my son, then 2 horrible experience in the ER. The er obgyn still gives me nightmares almost 2 years later. And just spent 5 hours in the er with my 19 month old in the waiting room. Finally called the on call nurse so I could go home with any peace of mind.

The crisis team is incompetent and unorganized - a simple request from the county was denied due to the inability of the crisis team to relay the proper information.

Fancy, nice-looking facility that lacks coordinated management and care. Multiple experiences now has convinced me this organization is too big to care properly for a hang nail, let alone something more serious. Will be happy to share details publicly...

Had a few ultrasounds and X-rays here for my kids. Was fine Updating: Took my son for an allergic reaction and they took us right back. Very happy with our care team.
