Reward Path Recovery

I cannot say enough good things about Reward Path Recovery. When I was at my absolute lowest, they took me in without judgment and gave me the support I needed to get back on my feet. Their compassion, dedication, and understanding truly changed my life. They didn’t just help me get clean — they gave me the tools, guidance, and encouragement to stay on the right path. My life has been changed for the better, and it’s all thanks to the amazing staff and program! I will be forever grateful for what they’ve done for me.

I came in to RPR discouraged, with a lot of doubts, at another dangerous crossroads in my life. I had years of substance use behind me, had never sought help, and they were my introduction to the world of recovery. I consider my time there a landmark in my life, and a catalyst for personal growth. The first time I approached things as “we” and not “me.” I stay in touch with the staff to this day and am happy to call them friends. I can’t thank them enough. It was not easy but was worth it irregardless of what the future brings, and I have since maintained abstinence more in the past 2 years then the 20+ prior.

RPR truly helped save my life. The amount of work all of the staff puts in is immense. Having heart & soul, wanting to support every client that enters into the program. I’m going on 7 months of sobriety, for the first time feeling like I can actually enjoy it. If you or a loved one struggles with addiction I highly recommend this center. I now work in treatment and when possible I still suggest RPR.

I really didn't want to leave, despite the fact that they prepared me well. Dr. V and his staff were Incredible. The facility is a beautifully upgraded and maintained Victorian Gem. I believe it was built around 1890. The food was prepared with real passion. The property is very peaceful - perfect for meditation. This is by way of saying, yes, the work was emotional and sometimes hard, tiring, but the Doctor and his surroundings were so soothing and therapeutic. It was hard to leave because I felt like I was growing so much every day and I really bonded with the staff and the other clients I was "sequestered" with. I would recommend Reward Path Recovery to anyone who is newly sober or like me, recovering from a relapse after decades of sobriety. It can happen to anybody, but there's no judgment at RPR, just compassion, patience and grace. Thank You.

I went there a year ago. This place is so unprofessional. I was treated so badly as was other clients. Your sick, your going through withdraws. One other girl had bowel accident in the bathroom they made her clean the bathroom this place is a horror house. They lie. I was attacked by another mentally I’ll client a few times. They did nothing until another girl client was attacked by him. She was pushed very hard by him and he screamed and chest bumped her. They then finely sent him packing. When they sent him out they gave him someone else’s phone. There is so many things that happened there. Do your research check out the Drs do checks on the Drs and staff. There are so many more professional rehabs out there. If I could give it zero I would minus would be better.

Reward Path Recovery saved my life. I have been to multiple treatment centers but this one is the only I would give five stars. Their staff is absolutely outstanding. The client capacity is only 6 so patients truly get the help that they need at RPR. As a healthy chef myself, I can assure you that you will be extremely satisfied with Chef Scott’s cooking. No one in the 60 days I spent there ever had a complaint about the food nor anything at all really in this program, which is extremely rare in the treatment industry. This program provides more therapy than I had ever received at any place I’d been prior. I truly believe RPR is my last rehab experience I’ll ever need on my journey in recovery. :)

It’s scary to even post here because of “outing myself,” but needing help is nothing to be embarrassed of, so I hope this review can help someone who is considering getting help here - you won’t regret it! I was referred here by a treatment center in Camarillo (they didn’t take my insurance) and I was able to get in touch with the doctor/owner, Dr Vivian, immediately. We discussed a plan etc but I wasn’t sure yet, I was obviously scared! The next day I decided I don’t want this to go on a second longer and I scheduled my intake for the following day. I’m so grateful for this because it can be easy to talk yourself out of it if you have too much time. He worked with me on my insurance coverage and deductible and I was on my way to recovery. I stayed 28 days (looking back, I wish I had stayed longer) and I learned so much during my time there. A bit part of my recovery involved trauma and mental health issues so it was great that we were able to work on that with 1:1 therapy and group. The food is absolutely amazing, as well as the staff! There is very minimal phone and tv time here so you’re able to disconnect. I’m forever grateful for the help that I received here.

This place and the angels running it and working here saved my life. There is something different about the approach it's customized patient to patient. The case workers and all staff down to the people that come through the doors completely broken actually care and meet you where your at and help you in the way you need. Highly recommended!!!!
