Saint John’s Program for Real Change empowers homeless women and their children to overcome drug addiction, trauma, and mental health concerns. Its 18-month residential program offers shelter, food, counseling, and education to help families regain stability. Empowering Mothers, Healing Families The center’s holistic approach uses individual, group, and family counseling to help women heal from deep-rooted trauma and substance use. Focusing on mental wellness, these therapies build coping skills and emotional strength, empowering mothers with tools for self-sufficiency and effective parenting. Education and employability programs for mothers provide essential support to help them secure jobs. A Safe And Supportive Campus Environment With 24/7 staff and security, the mother and child friendly campus provides a safe, structured, and sober environment. On-site amenities include private and shared rooms, dining halls, a computer lab, children’s play areas, and a fitness room. On-site childcare and well-child services allow mothers to focus fully on their treatment, and the program also offers transitional housing for women progressing toward independent living.
