Edit: I had a year of reduced fee because I made such a small amount of money in 2024 and now this year 2025 I was supposed to be able to renew my reduced rate much more quickly than the year before because I already had been in the system. Well turns out they denied me and denied my appeal saying that you have to make less than $438% of the federal poverty level well the federal poverty level is around $16,000 and multiply that by 4 and you've got 60k I made 20k I don't understand their math that makes no sense. sell false hope and lies. I could have bought a nice car or a down-payment on an apartment. People that make more than I do get 100% assistance. People are nice if you try, which I do, but they are so inconsistent and sell such false hope they end up triggering you to use.

I’ve been to at least 6 clinics throughout my life and this is by far the best. The lady behind the desk is an angel and remembers everyone’s name and number. Counselors are great, dosing nurses are great, doctor is funny. Best clinic in New Jersey by so much

It has help me very much.i ŵas there during the pandemic covid and I was self pay I lost my job bc of covid19 and I could pay no more so brian had me detox I was at 53mg they detox me in 4 days and did not care it was like they thru me away.

They deal with a lot. They can range from extremely helpful, to them being overwhelmed, but it is not them being inconsiderate they just have a lot of clients. Barbara is the star of the show here. She is empathetic and truly cares. She goes above and beyond for her patients and I believe she is what keeps this place running smoothly!

Excellent staff, friendly atmosphere

Been a client of this facility for 5+ years. The allow clients unmonitored urine screens which allows them to cheat their tests, sometimes for years at a time. Frequently councilors quit, leaving patients alone, or without proper supervision. THEY work WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, which means while your doing your thing, unsupervised THEY ARE AT THE SAME TIME WORKING TO TAKE AWAY YOUR CHILDREN. This is the Gods Honest Truth, I've seen this happen to almost every client. The help you think your getting is going to work against you and ultimately destroy your life.

I've been here about two years I believe. If you're not ready to be completely clean, they take a harm reduction approach and work on curbing your usage, which is what we need more of. The nurses and doctor are the best part about this place. We're all on a first name basis and everyone's very friendly. I used to have an AMAZING counselor, but they left for a better opportunity, so now I have an ok counselor. Either way, I'll have an overworked, and underpaid counselor here. At the end of the day, it's a business, owned by a bigger business, that wants results. But at least the people you come into contact with as a patient, or customer rather, are there to make a difference, and they are making a positive impact in people's lives, and the local community. They might be overworked and not always feel like it, but they really are making a big impact. The two reasons I give 4 stars instead of 5 are: - Their counselors are obviously underpaid, at least the really good ones, and overworked. They should employ more performance management techniques such as 1-on-1's and stretch assignments, etc. to identify the stronger performers, and take steps to retain them. I was getting very far with my last counselor. - I have been fully covered by my employer based insurance the whole time, but when I started there, their was an issue with confirming that. My insurance company said I was covered, Stateline said I wasn't. But I was very dedicated to my recovery at the time, so I paid out of pocket for months before it getting straightened out. So I paid hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars out of pocket the first few months, and when it was finally straightened out, no attempt to refund the money I paid in was made. They likely kept the cash I paid in, and probably got a check from my insurance company. Anyways, water under the bridge, I guess they say. All in all, if you're using, and are sick of going to jail, and don't want to die, even if that means reducing your usage %80-90 and not waking up sick, or being completely clean... well, this is the best place I've found. I've tried the methadone programs in Newark, and this is a much nicer scene. And if you live nearby, like I do, it doesn't get much better than this. Ideally, there should be a place like this in every town, as well as a Harm Reduction center. Well, it's been a long fight, but we're getting there. Overall, this place is highly recommended, if you're reading this, you or your loved one should give it a try. What is there to lose?
