Levels of Care
Our admissions team will work with you to explore the right payment options based on your needs, ensuring you get the best possible treatment.
In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.
Treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders, which affect the majority of individuals diagnosed, integrates care for mental health conditions with primary substance use. Personalized care plans are crafted to effectively address each condition simultaneously, optimizing the healing process.
Absolutely the best rehab experience of many! Feels like home and a family they truly care and the program taught me a lot! Counselors are great! Has a professional music studio! Everything is upscale! Thank You so much Vanity

So I did the inpatient in Payton Utah as well as the day treatment (php) and the night classes (IOP) and I’m currently continuing in the aftercare program. I have been to quite a few treatment centers and Steps stands at the top of all. Their therapist and faculty genuinely care for their clients and tell them what they need to hear, not necessarily what they want to hear. They know from personal experience the struggles of addiction and helped me break down some serious walls that allowed me to hear the messages needed for me to find a new and much happier way of living. Today I am so grateful that I was able to get into step and would recommend it to anyone who is ready to take suggestions and do the work. How freeing it has been for me.
I don't usually comment, but I feel it's important to warn others—Steps is NOT the place for recovery. It took me 10-12 rehabs over three years to get clean, and Steps was hands down the worst. The classes were absurdly long, sometimes lasting 2-3 hours without a break, and the counselor, Camille, was constantly on a power trip, belittling clients daily. The focus was more on enforcing pointless rules than actually helping people get sober. One of the worst experiences was when I was falsely accused of being high simply because I dropped my pen during a class. Despite passing multiple drug tests, the staff humiliated me by having everyone in the group accuse me of using, forcing me to defend myself in a public ‘trial’ of sorts. The environment at Steps was toxic, and the sober house was no better—full of backstabbing, gossip, and even theft. My time there was so bad it nearly caused me to relapse. If you're looking for a supportive and effective rehab, I strongly recommend Brickhouse in Boise instead.
Steps recovery saved my life I learned a lot From Steps recovery all the workers there care about every single person and will help you and do anything and everything they can to be there for you and help you in anyway possible I have been too many treatment centers and instead recovery is the best one I’ve ever been to if I had to recommend anybody that has to go to a treatment or wants to they will help u wit ur recovery as long as u put the work in an if it wasn’t for steps introducing me to the rms of N.A I don’t know where I’d b rite now thanks steps recovery
I did NOT have a very good experience with their sober living in Orem for women. After i left it took the house manager about 7-10 days to even pack my stuff up. Then it sat in the front room for almost a week. They would NOT let my family or anyone pick it up. I lost some pretty valuable stuff. And they aren't willing to help me figure out where it went.
Me my wife and my children have been a vital pillar in helping my brother in law through sobriety... he has been working for me and living with us for over 6 months and it would have been impossible for him to get treatment without our help! we were super excited when he told us about his graduation and wher exited to attend we wher asked to bring our kids because my brother in law wanted them there they are 1,3 and 6 years old! they have been a very big part of is road to sobriety we attended his graduation and before we even started the graduation my kids where making some noise! The counselor Camille looked at us and said if you don't handle this then... As she continued to give us a very dirty look! Nothing like making you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in a room full of people So I took my son outside because he made the noise that triggered the therapist Camille! Shortly after my wife came out with our baby and said that we are most certainly not welcome in there so I went back inside to get our 6 year old who was sitting with her aunt drawing quietly i tried to tell her we had to go as she left in tears as did my 3 year old earlier I have never felt so horrible in my life for daring to take my kids to something that should be a welcome event if these are the kinds of therapists that steps recovery keeps then maybe I would look someplace else for your loved ones to get the help they need!
I was not supported by staff and peers. My experience was very sad, be belittling and felt shame based. They actually had a group where we voted which peers we thought would relapse first . In my opinion very counter productive and hurtful. Closed minded and cookie cutter. Unless you very pro AA this program is not for you.
The staff was professional and supportive of my journey into recovery. They helped me have hope when I had none. I have gained a recovery family with real allies to support this lifelong path! Thank you Steps!
Amazing and caring staff dedicated to helping people get their lives on track.
