Tree of Life Children's Center

As a co-parent trying to respectfully support the therapy process, I was very disappointed by how Tree of Life handled the situation. They changed their policy on the spot and asked me to leave — not because of anything I did wrong, but simply because the child’s mother didn’t want me there. It felt unprofessional and unfair. Instead of maintaining neutrality and focusing on what’s best for the child, they let personal bias and outside pressure influence their decision. I wanted to be supportive and involved, but I was pushed out for reasons that had nothing to do with the child’s care. I truly hope they reconsider how they treat co-parents moving forward, especially those trying to stay respectfully engaged.

Great experience on the phone today. They helped clarify things and answered all my questions. Looking forward to working more with them.

If you have children and they get sick- if you don’t cancel before 24 hours- they will charge you full price of $150- that’s not right. Obviously they don’t have kids or have ever gotten sick. Go elsewhere!!! I’m so appalled! And I drove because of good reviews! Not worth it!!

My son just finished the emotional intelligence class and he really liked it and learned a lot. After his last class he came home with a stress bottle/jar, and a journal to write down his feelings. The staff was very professional, friendly and even provided snacks during the class. I would definitely recommend the classes they have to offer!

Kelci has been amazing for my daughter and has taught her so much which in return had made her a more strong confidence young women! I appreciate how everyone there has gone above and beyond on help me raise my daughter to be a confidence successful young woman! Kelci, Kaitlin, and huge thank you to Marci!

I’ve never been to a counselor before coming here and so far, I have had a really pleasant time! The receptionist, Lexi, is really kind and welcoming. And my counselor is also really awesome too. 10 out of 10 would recommend! ❤️

My daughter had a wonderful counselor here, that we followed from another practice despite the longer distance and difficulty for us to come here. However if you are more than a few minutes late for an appointment, no matter the reason or circumstances or communication you make with the office, the office receptionist will hide behind inane policies and refuse to let your child see her counselor for the remaining time (even if there is still most of the scheduled time remaining) or even let her just say goodbye on their last visit, and will also bypass insurance and bill you directly for the full appointment even though they refuse to let your child have the rest of the visit you pay for. My daughter's counselor is retiring and we will not be coming back here for a new counselor.

I've been working with Matt D. for just over a year now. He is trained in EMDR trauma therapy which has helped me immensely. His approach and insight has impacted my healing more than any other therapist I have worked with. The receptionist is an absolute delight and I truly get a personalized welcome. I cannot thank Tree Of Life enough for the difference in my life.
