The Center: A Place of Hope

The Center was an amazing experience from start to finish (and beyond!) The skills and faith that I have following the program will help me the rest of my life!

When I first came here, I was struggling deeply with my mental health and honestly felt lost. The staff met me exactly where I was — with compassion, patience, and zero judgment. They helped me understand what I was dealing with instead of making me feel broken because of it. Through therapy, guidance, and consistent support, I learned how to face and manage my mental health challenges in a healthy way. For the first time in a long time, I feel grounded, clear-headed, and hopeful about my future. I’m incredibly grateful for everyone here. If you’re struggling and don’t know where to turn, this place genuinely cares and can help you find your way back to yourself.

I was here for five weeks during the summer and I was so lucky to have good weather and an amazing roommate. From the Center itself to the house I was in, it was a great environment for me to build a better foundation and to gain some skills. The staff there, especially Crow Mike, Katie, and France are welcoming, and make you feel like you are in the right place. Thank you so much for all you do. It's been six months since I was there and I'm still feeling like I'm in control of my life. Th DBT skills are top notch and even though there were days I wanted to sleep in and not go to class, they were all worth it. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

This place is highly recommended for those seeking the tools to deal with a life that has become unmanageable. Excellent staff and great resources for aftercare. This out-patient program is life changing.

I went here for five weeks in later summer/ early fall. I do not have a traditional religion. Initially I was nervous due to this facility seeming like it was a Christian faith based mental health center. However the reality is, treatment is backed by scientific findings. They do offer faith classes but they are not mandatory. In fact, while most clients were Christian, it seemed like a diverse overall group that was accepting of everyone regardless of sex, gender, religion and race. The staff are fantastic and very welcoming. The facility is very nice and not as scary as most might imagine. They offer complimentary housing, free lunch 5 days a week and a variety of classes as well access to a nice local gym. When I arrived I was in the most challenging time mentally. Dealing with extreme anxiety and moderate depression. By the time I left I was doing much better. A couple months later I can say I’ve been using the tools I learned here and am feeling back to my normal self. If I found myself in an another difficult situation I would not hesitate to come back. I’d recommend this place to most people dealing with the most common mental health illnesses.

My 4 weeks here at the center honestly saved me. My first day I was so anxious about the new environment I had to have EMS called for me because I had a panic attack, and my second day I was throwing up the whole day. All that to say I wouldn’t have been able to make it through the first week if it wasn’t for the loving and wonderful and caring staff and clients. Everyone comes here with pain and it leads to a bright, warm, positive environment where people are able to bond and be their authentic selves completely. It’s been wonderful to have such tailored care for my needs, and now I have the ability to cope with the difficult times and move past them healthily. I truly could never thank them enough!

I went in feeling completely hopeless and that I needed to just accept the fact that I would be surviving the rest of my life. Fast forward 6 weeks and I feel a lot of hope and excitement for the future where I will be able to thrive not just survive. The staff are super supportive and caring I would definitely recommend going if you are struggling with mental health.
