I hated it here highkey like some staff I liked but they but me in a “carry out “ when I didn’t go to bed I saw others get put on floor holds and I got stuck in there for 4-5 months even tho I was doing my treatment they told me 2 weeks but that obviously didn’t happen I honestly don’t think this is the best place to send ur kids

Hell. Actually hell

I went here in December-janaury wasn't very long. But it was super good! Treatment was alright, I didn't really get a chance to do the treatment work on Thursdays, I was in the polar bear unit! The clients were all super nice and welcoming! We were told not to make friends but they were a few that were really nice. The staff are also amazing! I wanna give credits to Jayla, layel, Lucy, Reily, and all the polar bear staff for helping me. I loved playing card games and screen time. School here also isn't that bad! I really enjoyed teacher Justin, and Ms kooshy! I hope the polar bear staff get to know how awesome they are, and how thankful I am for them. Even when on risk, it's not horrible. They treat you like a person, and not some mentally unstable kid. I love the food there is was amazing, and I'm thankful for Courtney, chi, and layel who mostly helped with my eating disorder! I hope they see this cause they really are my favorite staff, and I'm so thankful and grateful I got treatment from this place, it was helpful, dont believe there was any bad in this place. I was scared but they showed me it was gonna be okay. Only thing that sucked is I lost a few stuff due to the wood crack in the beds and couldn't get them. Back 😂. But amazing place! And amazing staff (and chefs) -P.C.broah or toea #1 (I don't actually remember my PC name) out😇🙏🏼

i cant entirely recall how long i was there but i know it was anywhere from 1-3 months in 2023. i was sent after being hospitalized for a suicide attempt. my experience was okay for the most part although i have a few complaints.. •a lot of the staff were very understanding and sweet but there were a few that were just plain disrespectful. • "in the community" and "out in the community" were used as terms to make us feel alienated and ashamed enough to stop acting a certain way. •there were many trans teens in the facility and staff never made a single effort to respect their chosen names, not even when in front of other clients. •they put a dress code on my unit that was obviously strictly for the female clients. like: "no short dresses" "no crop tops". •i fractured my hand and needed to go to urgent care ASAP. my facility doctor refused to meet with me to talk about it for 2 weeks. i went TWO WEEKS. with a fractured hand and nobody paid any mind.

This place needs to be investigated

It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I was there from April 22 to July 18‘th I rember when I first got there I got in to a hold immediately because I didn’t want to give my phone to my mom and the reason they did is because I started crying when my mom took it. After the first 2 weeks I wrote a complaint because over how terrible the food was and the food rations I lost about 98 pounds there and it wasn’t healthy at all. After about 2 months I made friends I won’t say there name for safety and privacy but the rooms were horrible and dirty and I rember front end staff were my least favorite and back end staff were my favorite I loved when Jocelyn and Dee braided my hair and when Dee brought chewy her dog his tounge was to big to fit in his mouth so it would always stick out. But even though I had good times the ”Holds“ they would put me in would leave me bruises on my arms and legs and would cause me to be so tired and feel nauseous. But the worst experience there was when I got SA‘D I rember it was the worst experience I was there for depression and physical aggression and it helped a little but I still have the anger and fear and it gave me more PTSD I’m shaking just writing about this. Please never consider bringing your kid here
