Valley Hope of Moundridge

Nice people but I can truly say I have never been so hurt by a person and so disappointed in a facility in my life. Do your research on the facility well as the info on the internet is so far not at all how it goes. I don’t want to see my loved ones or anyone else’s empowered to be the victim especially when young children’s lives have been turned upside down. Ask questions and do your research before dropping someone you love off

Great place

It was very difficult to walk through the doors to get the help I needed. At that time I was in denial that even had a problem. One of the best things that I did out of the gate was going around and meeting as many people as possible. I went to all the meetings that I could, and quickly learned of the disease that I was dealing with. I sat back and listened to everyone’s story and soon started to see why I was there. It took a couple of days for everything to sink in, and I started to digest all the information that I could. Every staff member was 100% behind me in the recovery process and offered all kinds of encouragement. I felt comfortable being there and was able to open up to staff and other addicts in recovery without being judged. I learned how to identify what triggers make me susceptible to my addiction. They provided me the tools necessary to fight off urges and remove myself from uncomfortable situations. I owe my life to Valley Hope in Moundridge. I was on the verge of losing everything and had no idea. My time there has made me a better husband, father, son, sibling and friend. I definitely look at people in a different view and do not judge as I have no idea what life they have been dealt with. I came away with a new mindset on life and met a lot of great people. From the staff and patients, I am now living a great sober life. Anyone that is struggling or know of someone struggling, VH Moundridge is the place to be. I went in broken, and came out with the chance of a better life and a newfound family. This family is always willing to take a phone call when in need. We all have to work together if we want a better life. Again, the staff is top notch, and all they want is for you to be successful. Don’t wait another day. This journey started off with a lot of unknowns, now it is my turn to hold myself accountable and live a sober life. There are many alumni functions to keep you in touch with the people that you have met, along with a sober environment. Seeing their progress keeps me determined that I can stay sober and maybe help someone else in need. I do love my new life and new way of living. I highly recommend taking this journey, it might just save your life like it did for me. Also want to mention that the food is really good!

In June of this year I had never been more broken and hopeless. I had no desire to live anymore. God gave me the power and willingness to give Valley Hope in Moundridge a chance. It was the greatest decision ive made. They were there for me and walked through all of my trauma with me. The staff was top notch. Through being there for me through my detox and then being there to walk me through my life they were my angels. The counseling is what really made my experience there unforgettable. Today I am sitting at 99 days sobriety and I wouldn’t be here right now if it wasn’t for the help of VH and Ofcourse God. They showed me the love I had searched for all my life. I will forever be grateful to them.

Nah I don't have a drinking problem I can work until 5 to start drinking. Some days were good only to have 3 tallboys and days I need to have more. I was in denial because I didn't have to have a cold one in the 1st thing in the morning. But I realize that I was having trouble getting through the days without it. My family noticed my problems and I deep down that I needed help. Valley Hope which I heard about from people receiving help and today I am grateful that they helped me start my new journey 🙏

I had a wonderful experience with Valley Hope Moundridge! I came in a broken person greeted with hugs and promises that life gets better, and it does! I am currently 2 years sober and still going strong. There is HOPE for people today that need guidance away from the pain and suffering of alcohol and drugs and this is the perfect place for it. Come in open minded and willing and you will see a result of change in your life like no other. LOVE AND RESPECT!

This place helped me get my life back. The facility is very nice and the staff is EXCELLENT. Every single member of the staff was always happy to be there and to help however they could, it really is like a small family here. They helped me find myself and gave me the tools to continue bettering myself. I am so grateful this is the treatment facility I went to and I will forever to be grateful to the entire staff there for how they impacted my recovery and my entire life. I would give more stars if possible.

Hi I'm an Alcoholic Addict. The first time I sat down and actually said that out loud was the day my life changed. I excepted a long time ago and made peace with whoever I needed to knowing I was going to die in my addiction. I wasn't ready to except the fact I was an alcoholic addict tell I step through them doors. It didn’t hit at first but with time and the help of the staff and the people I met in treatment I accepted. It was the best thing I ever did. I am now 13 months sober and love my life with the fullest. It was not easy to get this cup and I never thought I would. But with the care of everyone around me I made it to the year. The aftercare and communication that Valley Hope given was amazing. Im not going to tell you it was easy or sugarcoat it. It took work a lot of work but the life gained was one I never thought I would have. I encourage you to take the risk take that one chance. What is 45 days for the rest of your life?
