Vantage Point of Northwest Arkansas

The support staff, nurses, and doctors made the experience bearable. They were very responsive with updates and super friendly. There is so much stigma around mental health hospitals, and they help families and patients understand their symptoms and treated us with great care.

I was admitted in spring of this year of 2025 and it was the best thing I could of done. Thank you so much because I have been sober off alcohol since. You all saved my life and helped me so much in inpatient and outpatient. Angel souls and I appreciate you all. ❤️❤️❤️ Update: Hi, I am happy to say that it's coming up on nearly a year since I was last admitted to inpatient. I have been sober from alcohol and cigarettes plus hard things almost a year. Reading and exercise has helped a lot. Thank you all for your hard work and care. I will try to give updates when I can. Our teen has been in multiple facilities, and Vantage Point is by far the best. You have likely noticed there are many negative reviews of all mental health facilities, which can be so terrifying. I wanted to take the time to express my gratitude for the care my teen has received during the stay here at Vantage Point. All staff are communicative and responsive. I have no problems calling to check on my child any time I want. They’re not pushing tons of meds and are truly trying to make the best decisions for our kiddo. We are willing to drive over 3 hours to have our child remain at Vantage Point. The sacrifice of travel is well worth the care our child is receiving, and we are truly appreciative. If you’re considering Vantage Point, we highly recommend this facility.

Our family member has had substance abuse issues for years and has gone through a few programs. The program at Vantage Point is by far the the best we've seen.

I loved it here! I came here when I was 11 and I made some friends, I loved Mr Jackson and Ms Sarah, I had to stay for 1 week. It distracted me from suicidal thoughts even though there was this 1 girl named Mia who was OUTRAGEOUS and I like how they put your preferred name on your room tag, I was roommates with Mia but I told the staff that I was uncomfortable being in the same room with Mia because her anger is terrifying and that we used to date and broke up so it was akward. The cafeteria didn't smell the best and you had to finish eating your food or you couldn't get desert. I liked going outside to hang out with my friends Khloe, Jaylen and Aiden, and the privacy was neutral, our room doors had to be slightly open and we had shower magnet doors to cover us up, but since our WHOLE bathroom floor was wet, my jeans would get wet, in the day room I would mostly draw with my friends and that was really nice! we'd have some staff come out and give us fun activities to do, despite there was SO MUCH DRAMA I believe its a decent place to be, like previously mentioned it made a huge distraction from my suicidal thoughts and there was only a few times I'd get upset but then something fun happens afterwards :)

My biggest and most important takeaway is that my family member got the help they needed and became better after their stay here. They were admitted during a mental crisis and after a 12 day stay, their health improved dramatically and seems to be on the right track. Medication was given, monitored and adjusted during their stay. I was able to speak to my family member every day, and was in frequent contact with their therapist, Sam. She was very informative and assuring during our multiple lengthy conversations. My family member also has a very favorable opinion of the staff here and has conveyed no complaints during our many phone calls.

They been good to my daughter! Call me when there's a change or she needs something! Really help my kid get on the right track! Great place to help her n me to get her mentally healthy 🙏

Look. Nobody wants to be here. However. Some of us end up here. I for one, feel like I received the care and medications I needed. I’ve been out for 48 hours. But. I am in a much more positive place than I have been in a very long time. The staff is great. THEY NEED RAISES. They have to deal with all the crazies, including myself, and they make as much as dominos workers. Sad. I was in adult 2. The sad unit. But I found it a net positive experience. I can honestly say that if you need help, and know you need help? You should come here. I would give 4.5 because of a bed bug scare. But I never personally saw any or had a bite. And they sprayed 3 times in my unit during my week stay, with plans to tent the unit asap. But in a facility like this, things like this are bound to happen.
