They offer emergency care, outpatient treatment, and community support programs. All of their services are certified by the state of Wisconsin. Evidence-Based Therapy for Waukeshans Their outpatient care uses therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-focused counseling, and medication-assisted treatment. These treatments help people manage emotions, handle stress, and build healthier habits with strong, well-rounded support. Weekday Outpatient Support The outpatient clinic is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Walk-in hours are: Monday: 12:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesday: 8:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday: 12:30 to 3 p.m. Thursday: 12:30 to 3 p.m. Friday: 8:30 to 10 a.m. During these times, health professionals meet with new clients to assess their needs and create a plan for ongoing care. Anytime Crisis Support Waukesha County offers 24/7 crisis services for urgent mental health or substance use needs. The Crisis Resource Center (CRC), run with the help of volunteers, provides short-term support in a safe, home-like setting. Special Programs to Meet Community Needs For women with substance use disorders, the Women’s Health and Recovery Project (WHARP) offers free, family-friendly counseling and support. Clients also work with a peer specialist and recovery navigator to find helpful community resources. Waukesha County also runs a co-responder program. In this program, mental health professionals work with law enforcement to respond to crisis calls. This helps people in crisis get the right care quickly while easing pressure on emergency rooms. Additional community-based programs at Waukesha County Behavioral Health Services include Comprehensive Community Services (CCS), which uses a team approach to care, and the Community Support Program (CSP), which offers home visits and 24/7 crisis support for adults with long-term mental illness.
