Danielle is the most unprofessional therapist I ever met. She is over her Norwegian skis. She has absolutely no empathy or understanding what individuals with a disease of addiction deal with on a daily basis away from there family or especially their kids. As long as she goes home at night she cares less. She should be removed from her position.
I don’t understand the bad reviews. I had a productive and helpful time. I’m introverted and still made long lasting sober friends.
I was here in December 2019. This place deserves better reviews. It’s clean, productive, and the food decent. I was introduced to mindfulness and meditation before bed. They have a beautiful room with lighting that hangs over you. At night, everyone goes to the reflection room and engage in mindfulness. I’ll never forget looking up at those lights while a counselor guided me through meditation. It made for a very peaceful memory. I will say they lock your personal bathroom during the day to keep you social and out of your room. There is a public restroom that’s always on top shape that everyone uses during the day. These place helped me maintain my sobriety and gave me the meds and tools I needed to stay healthy.
It’s kinda shocking to me this place has such low reviews. I was here last December 2022 and this place saved my life. I will be a year sober in December. It was my first time ever in a residential program and I was beyond scared and almost backed out multiple times, but staying here completely changed my life. I failed every single time I had tried to get sober until I came here. The techs are all great for the most part and really left an impact on me. The ones who stuck out to me the most were Jay, Dustin, and Jilani. Very compassionate people who actually do care. The therapists are also good. I did however come here over other places because I also deal with mental health issues and thought this was a dual program for mental health and substance abuse and the mental health aspect definitely lacked. So don’t come here if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s mainly a substance abuse program in my opinion. But other than that I really do have nothing negative to say. My life has completely changed around in a year and I’ll forever be grateful for my time spent here and would do it all over again but hopefully never will lol
As someone who’s never been to a rehab before, this place was pretty chill. Kim is really down to earth and listens to you. Laura is an amazing therapist. Anyone would be lucky to have her. Some of the rules don’t make sense, you just have to roll w/it.
This was the worst treatment center I’ve ever been to. I attended for ocd/anxiety and had to spend 3/4 of my stay in addiction classes, even though I’m not an addict. They claim the classes are about mental health and can benefit everyone, but each class was about addiction, leaving those who have ocd/anxiety issues unable to participate. The ocd classes were disappointing. They weren’t able to help with obsessions and the instructors had no idea on what to do for exposures. The staff, with the exception of a few techs, were extremely rude and condescending. Try to get in line for food before the staff does because they’ll make sure they eat before you, leaving some patients with no food at all since they never serve enough. You’re only allowed to use 1 of 2 public bathrooms the entire day, until 9pm, which don’t get cleaned regularly and have urine and hair all over the seats and floors. The nursing staff is completely incompetent, especially if you have known medical issues. Also, if you’re not ‘responding’ to their treatment, they’ll send you home early. I recommend avoiding this place for ocd/anxiety. If you do decide to go, best of luck to you
This is the first time I googled this website since I was there. June 19th 2022 was my three year anniversary of being sober, first I do thank my Higher Power and Fuglia I must say (Thank you). At age of 44 I decided I truly needed help, not only was I losing myself but I was losing my kids. Long story short, still a single father but a sober & happy one.
This place saved my life and I’ll be forever grateful.
