After Action, a facility operated by AM Health Care, is a trauma-informed residential addiction treatment center for male first responders in the Northbrook neighborhood of Los Angeles. The center offers both detox and residential care to men with substance use disorders. They take an evidence-based approach to treatment, using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement therapy (EMDR), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address the unique needs of men in recovery during or after their service. After Action’s focus is to provide through, and multifaceted treatment to promote effective healing and recovery. They are accredited by the Joint Commission and accept several major insurance providers.
