BJC is amazing. They have helped me in times of crisis, I have a whole care team with them and I don’t know what I’d do without them. Highly recommend
They were good years back but within the last year it has been bad. My client is on a spendown program with Medicaid where she gets nursing & home care giver. Bjc has messed up paperwork that she does not get that. Bjc is passing the buck saying that it is Family Service problem, we have been there & the computer is saying she still has those services but the nurse & caregiver are not getting paid because Bjc isn't marking the paperwork correctly. There are a few doctors not getting paid either. We have been fighting this for a year. Neglect on Bjc part by not providing nursing to my client. Sad really sad. Her meds are messed up due to this but Bjc is saying it is not their fault. My suggestion DO NOT USE BJC FOR ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DEAL WITH SPENDDOWN PROGRAM WITH MEDICAID. BJC SEEMS TO NOT CARE IF THEY GET NURSING OR CAREGIVING. THEY ARE NEGLECTING THE PATIENT AND DON'T CARE IF HER MEDS ARE MESSED UP OR NOT.

I have been with BJC Behavioral Health for a little over a year now. They have always been very kind and prompt in their care. I have a medical team here that helps me with my medications and a therapist who helps me to process and overcome my specific issues. The front desk has always been very helpful with any questions or scheduling concerns I've had.

When they have a case manager that tells a young adult with an intellectual disability that in the end the decision is theirs.you shouldn’t be a case manager.people with an intellectual disability need assistance to live a life to the best of their ability.not enabled to make poor choices because the have a disability that hinders their ability to process information as most people can.
