Cirque Lodge Studio

This is a very strange and I must admit scary place. After only ten days I saw so much possibly unethical behavior and rampant bullying that I had no choice but to try to file a formal complaint with one of the owners. When I did so, he summarily ejected me from the premises with no car, no place to go, no cause, nor reason, nor justification. I believe the facility was in receipt of about 35,000 dollars of my money and they would neither call me an Uber nor pay for me to stay in a hotel room for the night. I simply took my meager belongings and went and stood on the sidewalk, at 10:30pm. It was 21 degrees. As I write this, the temperature in Orem, Utah is 16 degrees Fahrenheit. Eventually two members of the Orem Police Department drove by and saw me standing on the sidewalk, in the cold. They stopped and asked me to describe the situation. I did so and they called the owner in question and politely asked him to allow me to come in out of the frozen temperatures until I could make a safe plan in the morning. The owner refused. The Police did not know what to do and neither did I. So they took me to Denny's and explained the situation to the staff. As I write this I am drinking coffee at Denny's. The Orem, Utah Police Department quite literally saved my life. Thank God for them. This occurred on the evening of Sunday, 25 January 2026 to the present moment, the morning of Monday, 26 January, 2026. "You shall know the tree by its fruits."

I was a resident at Cirque twice, once in 2016 and again in 2024. The facilities upgrades we're and added bonus to what I knew would be a beneficial treatment experience. While the luxury amenities were amazing, what really stood out to me was the experiential therapy. From the high ropes course to the weekly hikes in the sorrounding landscape, those activities helped me break through barriers I couldn't have reached in talk therapy alone. Most importantly, the staff gave me the guidance and opportunity to work through all 12 steps while I was there. I left with a solid foundation for my recovery. Highly recommended for anyone ready to commit to a life of sobriety.

Cirque is the place that helped me build the foundation I am able to rely upon to live a substance free life that is more fulfilling than I ever dreamed. Cirque Lodge was exactly what I needed for my recovery. I was in a bad place, but relearning things I had lost during my first time in another rehab and also relearning how to have fun in sobriety with the experientials they offer and also the meetings - AA, NA, CA. Working with the horses was also fun 🙏🏽 Jordan Woodman and Cara Cameron who worked with me with my Aftercare are amazing! They are extremely kind and wonderful. 😊 Mad props to admissions as well, Sean and Natalia. 🙏🏽 And kudos to the front line staff and kitchen staff and house keeping for being really kind as well.
