Enlight Treatment Center

-update: minus 1 star from 3 stars due to the core issue being reveled…its communication and the fact one of the main clinical directors will ignore technicalities, she didn’t function within the lines of reason but from the outside of reason. To her logic, something can already be scheduled without being scheduled, you can submit something without hitting submit, you can send something without hitting send. She will distort reality and logic just to protect her ego. This is very concerning behavior coming from her. IF YOU GOT ANY APPOINTMENTS YOU NEED TO GET TO, DO NOT COME HERE. EVEN IF YOU PLAY BY THERE RULES, THEY WILL FIND A WAY TO PIN IT ON YOU. idk? Started amazing Towards the end I was made so uncomfortable I ceased eating & started to lose weight, I couldn’t sleep due to the discomfort & LOTS of miscommunication compounding into stress. Last few days I was left feeling like it was a mistake to come here, I would just stay in my room and starve, isolating. Highly recommend, It should work for anyone else. Personally, I’m not comfortable here or feel comfortable with the staff. I wish I could give 5 stars, I was gonna try to force my self to do it, but I don’t have it in me, too much awkwardness. I feel as if I’m leaving with worse depression, I didn’t suffer with anxiety before but now I do so have new. Great beginning - horrible end. I feel like I’m gonna need more therapy to recover from here. I have a different place lined up. I should’ve tried a place more tailored to first responders/firefighters. They do exists.

If you are nervous, hesitant, conflicted about getting help or helping a loved one get help, there isn’t a more warm-welcoming & safe place to be. All catagories you can possibly think of that would make a treatment center perfect, is exactly what Enlight Treatment Center is. I came immediately after being at another treatment center & I was terrified. When I made calls to get in somewhere, the person who answered was more concerned with my well-being than my wallet. My first day there, I was crying & I remember sitting with a counselor, Kristin, who I asked if everyone who worked there really cared & she along with every single staff member there proved just how much they cared. In fact, they really all went above and beyond to help every individuals needs in recovery. When I was near the end of my stay I was certain I was going back home right away. They helped me feel safe to try out sober living and it completely changed my life. Remember, employees are replaceable, if you’re worried about “needing to get back to work,” things will work itself out, trust the process & the staff. They have the purest hearts. I’m forever grateful for every single one of them.

I’ve have referred many people to Enlight for detox and residential as well as for mental health treatment, and let me tell you, lives are being changed lives are being saved. I’ve been working as a recovery coach for almost 15 years, worked with many different treatment centers, none of them are like Enlight. I’ve had client sent to Enlight from all walks of life; rich poor employed unemployed, people who worked to unions and blue collar men to lawyers and nurses… this is the only place I trust to be able to take care of my folks in addiction. I trust them for many reasons but mainly because they have 3 doctors on site who will see you in person as opposed to other centers who have one doctor who will see you on zoom (if ever). The team at Enlight is as experienced as it gets, most of the staff themselves have been through addiction and really treat this job as a passion. I have sent over 100 people to Enlight for detox from alcohol, Xanax, ketamine, Cocaine, Fentanyl, Heroin, Marijuana, Whippets, Adderall, Methamphetamine… you name it. Many of these people were dual diagnosis, meaning they had both mental health issues and addiction. Most of my clients that I’ve sent to Enlight are sober now! Enlight really knows how to Safely medically, detox, and set up the foundation for future success in sobriety. Love you guys. Shout out to Chef Carlo, homie is a wizard when it comes to making food. I am 6 months clean and sober, all thanks to God and too Enlight Treatment Center. They assisted me in changing my life around. This is an awesome facility I would recommend them to anyone with all aspects of Dual Treatment.

Where do I even begin? My time at Enlight was nothing short of extraordinary. I arrived to this treatment center during one of the lowest points of my life. I was living out of my hammock on the border of Los Padres National Forest, deciding that I would exile myself from the pleasantries of having any friends or continuing to be a member of my family. After 3 months of living in the bush, I decided to go get help. In the 80 days that I was at Enlight, I started the 12 Steps, I picked up my first sponsor, and most importantly, I found myself again. After years of suffering with a clouded conscience and minimial self-confidence, the staff here helped me regain my sense of belonging and made me feel proud of who I am. Chef Carlito went from being the guy who prepared all the meals 6 days a week to being a true friend to me. Mish and Will consistently made sure that I was comfortable during my time at the facility, and also ensured that my after-care plans were the best they could offer. The entire IMS team; Chase, Charles, West, Atom, Anna, and Chris always offered their friendship and conversation no matter the time of day. The clinical staff; Yayé, Narine, Karen, Kristen, and Jen helped me examine my deficiencies that I developed while in active addiction so that I could work to rebuild, and find my true sense of self once more. Lastly, thank you to Dr. Albert and Vahe for allowing me the opportunity to show my true character under a supreme level of care. Enlight truly saved my life, and I will be forever indebted to this great organization.

A close friend of my mine was battling with years of alcohol addiction. We had taken him to multiple detox centers here in New Jersey where we live but nothing would really change in his behavior. He would maintain a few weeks of sobriety but would always end up back to the bottle. Finally we found Enlight Treatment Center after a few psychiatrists here in New Jersey had recommended we come out to california to get our friend the help that he needs. Its been about two years since he completed the program at Enlight and we never thought he would be where he is today. 2 years sober with a healthy family life. Man, cant thank Enlight enough for the work that they have done for us, my friend and his family. If youre looking for a detox facility, dont waste time looking elsewhere. Dr. Alber and Dr. Gevorkian are working magic here. God bless the work you guys do. I would recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with addiction or mental health 100/10 times

Enlight is one of the only places for detox and mental health rehabilitation that offers psychiatric care in person. They had 3 different MD psychiatrists that we meet in person and address all substance abuse and mental health needs in person as opposed to other centers that only see clients over zoom. Enlight has been the last stop. The staff is amazing, the chef is phenomenal and the energy there is just different
