Groups Recover Together Connersville

I never did well with the whole group thing until now. Groups gives me everything I need to recover today!

I look forward to seeing and hearing from my group every week. My counselor is very helpful. I have Tia now but I used to have Kendra and I really miss her she was great! I'm sure Tia will be too I have only had her for 2 weeks. I really love Susie our Nurse Practitioner that we see every month!! She really listens to me and goes out of her way to really help others. She goes above and beyond she has the biggest heart and truly cares about our well-being!!!

Group has helped me tremendously the last couple of years. I would be so lost and still doing the worst like drugs and more of it wasn't for my groups. I can open up and talk and let me be me and it helps me so so much mentally and physically. Groups has saved my life

I tried to stop using with suboxyn a few times, in and out of jail and rehabs I would think I had it under control every time I got out of rehab, that I finally understood it and I could do it this time for my kids and family. But I wouldn’t last long at all. People, places and things sounded so easy to understand and you really don’t imagine the impact of just those things are in your recovery. I didn’t last long and was right back in jail/prison/ or rehab! I didn’t have any idea just how bad I really was. And 20 years flew by like nothing. Finally I knew I had to do it for myself! And it took a few times back and forth, putting my loved ones through hell w me. Today I can say that I have stopped counting how long I have been clean from herion and have absolutely zero desire ever for it. I have lost so many family members and friends to heroin and prison, institutions. I finally just didn’t have any desire for it after so long of chasing it and letting everyone down, making excuses, overdoing daily. Doing things that I never thought I would degrade myself to do for anything in life. I was a very judgmental person to anyone who did drugs for so many years. I took the wrong path and destroyed so many years that can never be taken back and loosing everyone I loved. I honestly have no idea how I am still breathing, GOD is the only thing that makes sense, I’m definitely here for a reason, I try every single day to be better than I was yesterday and continue my sobriety. So no matter how bad things get. Only you can change it. And yes , you definitely can.

Group says helped me more than I ever thought it would, some boxing actually helped the form of autism that I have to wear I can actually talk to people and be in public places blend in which is something I've never done my whole life or been able to do my whole life, and hearing from other people in group I feel like I'm not the only one anymore because until now I've always just been pushed aside or ignored so for me it's amazing

Groups has dramatically impacted my life! If you aren’t an addict or don’t love one or live with one then you can’t possibly understand the importance of not only your physical health but your mental health! And to have such great relationships with people whom know first hand and supports your journey is truly a wonderful experience and feeling. For those that are serious about their sobriety and self love it’s truly helpful and probably the best choice you’ve made yet however there are those that aren’t truly honest to themselves nor to others and it becomes an obvious thing. If your at the point of being honest and serious about recovery the. It can and will change your life and outlook on certain situations and to know your judged daily by others until you go to your meeting every week that’s the one place where you feel free of judgement. Office staff are really nice as long as your honest and respectful and have the want and willingness to show up sometimes hard to reach bc of how the phones are set up but it’s gotten way better from what it was a year ago! Everyone can benefit from joining one meeting and what an impact just one meeting can make on someone!

I love the group, I'm not from the area tho. I don't understand it all but they seem to be getting it together. If they fix the issue of "technology failure" it's a good thing. The people are awesome but technology fails once a month. So if you're like me n have mental health issues then you gotta have patience but they'll get better.

I’m leaving a new review to update as I’ve now been a part of the Groups program for over 6 years. I would highly recommend this program for anyone who is stuck in active addiction. It’s great for anyone who has tried other options and fell back into addiction. It’s great for someone who wants to recover, but still needs to work, parent, attend school, etc.. It’s great for someone who wants to recover, but lacks insurance. It’s super affordable and flexible! There are many different class times for virtual meetings! I’m sure they have something available to fit your schedule! Don’t hesitate/procrastinate…make the call and start your recovery! You deserve it!!!!🫶🏻 I would recommend Groups to anyone wanting a better life. They helped me more than I can even put into words.
