Levels of Care
Our admissions team will work with you to explore the right payment options based on your needs, ensuring you get the best possible treatment.
Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.
The highest level of care, medically managed with 24-hour nursing and physician care in a residential or medically-based setting, and can include any combination of medication, counseling and therapy.
Licensed primary mental health facilities provide specialized care for diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. By offering early intervention and comprehensive services, they promote overall well-being and prevent long-term complications.
Substance use disorders often occur alongside primary mental health conditions. Programs for co-occurring substance use disorders focus on both conditions, tailoring treatment for comprehensive recovery.
Absolutely the best rehab experience of many! Feels like home and a family they truly care and the program taught me a lot! Counselors are great! Has a professional music studio! Everything is upscale! Thank You so much Vanity

My mom, Jane McPherson, received excellent care from all the employees that were involved in her care; Surgery and Pulmonology staff. Mom passed comfortably on 2/13/26 at the wonderful Heartford House after she decided surgery wasnt an option. I hope her staff is highly recognized. Sincerely, Kim Dunn RN BSN
Giving them a 1 is stretching it. My daughter was scheduled for a simple surgical procedure. They had her sign paperwork that was expired which wasn't caught until the morning of surgery. While waiting for them to scramble to fix their mistake We sat over 5 hours waiting to be called back because the surgeon decided to go out of order. No explanations were given. We were just told "we dont know what's going on". They did not care that we were uncomfortable, not eaten or had no concern for the situation. We were told "we can take out your IV" and you can leave. This hospital is little more than a bandaid station with incompetent people running the show. I do not recommend this place for any reason. Do yourself a favor and choose another hospital.
Worst hospital ever, my mother in law was scheduled for surgery at 4:15 pm so we were going to be up here at 12:00 pm to be with her way before surgery we called the hospital at 10:00 am to make sure it was still on for 4:15 pm and they said well she's already taken up for surgery. Beyond pissed she had to go to surgery without her family anything could have happened. Someone should have called to let us know. Do better. There's a reason people don't want to come to this hospital.
Worst ran hospital in the area! There's a reason most people go to evansville, louisville and nashville! Communication is a joke! My mother was supposed to have surgery at 4:15pm today. Nurses said they would call if they were going to do it earlier. They moved it to 11am without a phone call. Beyond mad!
Sent my mother home with a swelling brain. Instead of taking that seriously and transporting her to another hospital for a second opinion (since they couldn’t figure out what it was causing so) they sent her home instead with a bunch of papers to figure out herself how to get transported. Time passed and her brain got worse, maybe this could have been avoided or prevented a little if they took her issue seriously instead of just sending her home with a swelling brain and just telling her to come back soon for a checkup?! I will say, recently we took her back here for similar issues and they did take her more seriously this time and transported her themselves to another hospital for a second opinion and care.
I have luckily never been admitted for overnight stay myself but have had several family members admitted. I see several providers at the hospital, my Neurologist, & my Podiatrist both have offices at the hospital itself & most of my other providers are in the Owensboro Health system but at different locations in the area. I have personally had several outpatient procedures & various test at the hospital & come for appointments several times a year. I appreciate the convenience of having good providers available locally. The facility is always clean & comfortable yet modern. The equipment seems to be updated regularly, like they now can do 3D imaging for mammograms. Is everything "state of the art" no.. but I dont expect that from a midsized regional hospital. The majority of the staff have always been friendly, knowledgeable & willing to answer any & all questions I might have. However, over the years, there have been a couple of Doctors that have treated myself or my family members who were condescending, & didn't listen to our concerns or just were jerks. But you are bound to run into that anywhere. We obviously switched providers for those specialties & I've never had any issues when I've felt the need to do so. The hospital staff & my team of current providers are wonderful & I feel heard. There is plenty of easily accessible parking & they offer free valet service to make it as easy as they can for patients & their family members. The food is decent. They have a Starbucks (with limited hours) A Subway, & then their own cafeteria. There is a Salad bar, Homemade Chili which is decent, a couple of Soups which rotate, Pizza by the slice, a Grill with several options including hot entrees, pre-made sandwiches & various grab & go options like fruit or desserts. Some Donuts & pastries, standard fountain & Bottled beverages etc. They have a cashier during peak times I believe but mid afternoon its self checkout. There is a good sized, comfortable dining room overlooking a nice outdoor area with a decent view. The waiting areas for testing or outpatient surgeries are pretty standard and there are a couple of plugs around for recharging your electronics but they could really use more, especially considering how long people sometimes have to wait themselves to be seen or for family members waiting for loved ones. All in all I think its a decent hospital although my brother, who works in a different, larger hospital 45 minutes away, would prefer we drive all the way to his hospital for treatment. Shrug. Depends on how urgent the situation is.
Absolutely horrible experience. I wouldnt take a baby doll to get help here. If you love yourself or your family member, don't let these people care for you I was admitted. Got breakfast and never was offered lunch. When I asked about it, I was told "well dinner will be here in a couple hours." Pushed the call lights and rarely got a response. I signed myself out, ama, and went to evansville where I received appropriate care and where they didnt give me a medication via IV for 12 hours when I told them I dont react well to it.
Very wonderful caring crew .
