CKF Addiction Treatment Salina

I have to be honest. I had a choice. I was a little reluctant in the beginning to go to Salina, Ks and to this treatment facility.Based on reviews. I was on senate bill. Nonetheless, it's not going to change how I feel.I'm about this place. These people care about every person that walks in that door. They cannot help everyone. They make it very clear on addictions, they can help and what they can't help detox. And if it was their choice, they would not turn a soul away. They are understaffed and they make that facility work. Because of how much they care. I have absolutely nothing negative to say.And yes, prepare to gain weight.Because they feed you well and the food is phenomenal. Okay, okay. I take it back one negative. There's no windows, it's kind of a downer. When you're going through treatment. I'm not a big AA or NA person, but twenty one days of that was awesome. I am grateful for the CKF and everything they did. My story is a little different, but I can see what they provide. It's a safe place Ipromise that and they don't tolerate no bullshit. Thank you all. Especially Megan who was there to check me in and out. You are a true role model. I can't leave out names to everyone that meant something and provided the change in my life, Julie, Edith (Edie) Ciara, i could go on and on. It's worth it people 😊

I would like to take a moment to say THANK YOU to ALL OF THE STAFF at CKF, Miss Jetta, Mr. Herman, and Mr. Blake included. You have all made MY journey a very memorable one. Everyone has helped me to build a strong foundation in my recovery over the past 5 years. I am grateful, beyond words, for the new life that I has been set before me. Through goal setting, group interactions, and the one-on-one counseling with Miss Julie, I am progressing into a better version of myself. If you are in need of assistance with addiction, CKF offers a wonderful, structured, routine environment that truly helped me pave my way through the chaos of the using lifestyle that I had become accustomed to. They provided essential tools to build my life back up when I had fallen. Thank you again for all of the support and guidance.

CKF RESIDENTIAL SAVED MY LIFE!!! The staff there is TOP OF THE LINE, every staff member is above and beyond the absolute best in my own opinion-- several people went out of their way to help me showing true compassion and exceedingly amazing professionalism throughout my 28 day stay and journey as an inpatient. I absolutely hit rock bottom and thought my life was not worthy anymore after 17+ years as a "functioning" opiate addict... However the kindness, compassion, and beyond above awesome ability of each and every staff member helped me regain myself through my stay at CKF where I relearned how to love myself and regain the thoughts that my life is worth saving. This was a no brainer for me in my recovery. I was VERY SKEPTICAL at first, but stuck with it- it works if you work it! One day at a time, hell one minute at a time for me, even. Special shout-out to the director Julie for her tremendous relentless approach to help me throughout my stay as well as all the counselors; Samantha, Ciara, and the new well deserved title of counselor to miss Edee, formerly peer support mentor, for all of their combined hard work and efforts in dealing with such a pessimistic asshole such as myself but their tough love and relentless work ethic helped drive me to become a better person and while not nearly there yet on my early road to early recovery in my sobriety, I can now honestly say, for the first time in my entire life, I have the ability to look myself in the mirror and be proud of who I am with self love and compassion that I never knew existed until I came to CKF Salina. Hands down everybody working deserves a raise and can be credited with helping me save my life. Thank you CKF so much!! And if you want to get your life back, have some semblance of confidence in your ability to move forward in life sober I say don't second guess yourself - go to CKF residential and work the program stay the whole time and actually put in the work. Nothing good in life worth having is easy. But this was the best decision I have ever made and truly am more grateful and appreciative now than ever before in my 34 years on this planet. I literally CANNOT thank everybody who helped me out enough and to every addict out there still suffering - don't give up hope, if I can do it, YOU CAN TOO!

This outfit exists solely to provide employment for their inexperienced staff whose ill-equipped, lack compassion for that which they advertise. Schedule an appointment to schedule an appointment to maintain the illusion of care for. Please consider looking for help, perhaps out of state. This was the fifth organization in the state, who pretended to have a solution for addiction they don't have any capacity to relate with. Social workers with no understanding. Limited to prioritizing their convenience. Treat people indifferent, as if the afflicted are the disease, not as individuals with a disease.

Went there at my lowest, seeking help wanting someone to talk to. All they wanted was money.

Opiate users forget it. It’s a social detox and really not equipped for opiates. Took 4 days for someone to listen to me that I was on methadone and then once they found out I was kicked to the street within 5 minutes!!! The food is great and some of the staff but that doesn’t change the huge downfalls they have.

I completed detox and residential addiction treatment here, a total of 28 days for me. It was hard, but rehab isn't meant to be easy. What is provided here works if it is truly worked at and applied seriously. I'm so thankful I got treatment here.

Can’t speak for inpatient but outpatient care and especially MAT=unreliable. It seems they work when they want to, and they don’t seem to know that people are going to be pretty dependent on the medications they offer. Which you would think they would be well versed on the subject. I would kill for their work schedule. They tend to pass off any responsibility as an inconvenience. Also they seem to be of the belief that their patients work for them, I’m reality it should be quite the opposite.
