I went to the E R on Dec 28th, 2025 for Cellulitis that went Septic. Spent 9 hrs & 45 minutes in the E R til they stuck me in a room. I spent 11 days there & finally got transferred to Casey Hospital for physical therapy, cause they had a Swingbed. The Wound Care team didn’t redress my leg but every 2-3 days on day shift, even though it was done almost on a nightly basis. It should have been 2x a day every day, cause Casey Hospital Wound Care team didn’t it 2x a day & got my leg better than EMH did! The distinction there should have focused my meals on high protein to get the skin on my leg to regrow quicker, but didn’t til I got to Casey. I do not recommend for anyone to stay here with Cellulitis that goes Septic, go to another hospital. I know if I need to go back because my Cellulitis goes septic again, I will go back to Casey Hospital before I go to EMH! I only got 1 bath the whole stay & I didn’t get it on nights like I should have, it was after a phone call was made to address that issue during the shift change.

Numerous times this month I've had to take an elderly friend to the er, per request if her Doctor. The parking to get to the er is ridiculous! The parking areas that's marked for the handicapped is ridiculous! This week she was finally admitted to the hospital and the parking area where the parking structure is RIDICULOUS! What parking structure? I've had to get her medicine from the hospital pharmacy each month for the past year, parked at the small area to pick up her medicine at the pharmacy on Third Street and would find it amazing if some hasn't been hit by the cars zooming by! As much money as this hospital pulls in, you would think they could afford parking including valet parking especially for elderly or handicapped folks. I'm 67 and don't consider myself elderly yet, but I can't imagine what it's like for these people to drive around to find a spot to park after racing to beat the other cars for a parking spot! Maybe they could hold a lottery to see who wins the spot! Then they have to hike a mile to just get in the door! And what about wheel chair access? Just park in the north forty, give them a shove and hope they don't hit all the vehicles squeezed into the tiny parking spots. Maybe people with trucks and vans should get a smaller vehicle. I'm sure I'm not the first to complain but it's my first time complaining. I should have complained years ago because it's been like this for years! If I have a choice I would never go to this place!

I inquired of the Staff as to why I was only getting one drop of medication in my ears and was advised that maybe the medication they used was stronger. As I was checking out I saw the bottle of medication that they were putting in my ears. It was the medication latanoprost that should be put in my eyes to treat glaucoma!!! Scary 😱!!

I have not had good experiences with Ephram. The nurses always... Always follow up after surgical procedures with WRONG information and do NOT follow up. Release from the hospital, there are no directions for self care, the appointments should already be made by the surgeon for followup and they seem to know nothing about your stay when you call for information having to ask different people or call back for information. One thing I can say good is Ms. TANYA in surgical nurse can get the job done when it comes to stick with IVs. I was stuck over 6 times and she got it done the first time she tried. Thank you Ms Tanya

Can’t see my comment on here for some reason…care to reply to mine? Can’t? Hm. Why not? You have replied to others after mine. A JOKE A JOKE A JOKE everyone sees it lol Way to go Ephraim compassionate patient based care!! THIS IS PLAIN JANE proof that they are able to just charge more because they have a “board certified OBGYN” so reimbursement will automatically be higher due to this. I.E. increased labor billing for mothers and more money in Ephraims pocket. Don’t matter “board certified” or not. I rather Dr, Miller, Dr Sims, or Jamie deliver my baby than ANYONE over there, but I can not find it in my heart to give birth or them any money PERIOD especially if my doctor who KNOWS ME AND MY BABY can’t be there. But again it’s compassionate, patient centered, SAFER care right? Okay. LOL. WHAT A JOKE. ALSO WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COMING FROM YOU!!!!!!
