Benchmark Behavioral Health Systems

The kids here are not taken care of and the staff is very neglecting the kid that need help. They need to find better solutions to help these kids that are there due to struggling with different circumstances.

Benchmark was so helpful in helping my grandson fund himself. Mindy was an amazing therapist. The staff there plus up with so much from the boys, but they are always kind, helpful, and professional. Loved our experience.

Pro’s: Andrea is an amazing therapist! Hands down. Having a lot of experience with mental health specialists I would have to say she stands out. Her dedication to her patients and their families for resolution and healing shows in her work. Her communication and professionalism while being supportive and structural in her treatment plan was exemplary. Andrea shows compassion and flexibility that is tailored to the situation at hand. Andrea really helped make a difference with our child and our family. Weekly family therapy sessions with her were very productive and the difference in our child after his stay is a testament to her commitment. Valentino was a real role model providing structure and security as unit staff. Giving our child great advise that he still echoes in times of thought. Valentino provided our child with the positive male role he craved in his time of need. Joe took the time to see our child off on his discharge day. It was great to hear his praise for our child and that he truly appreciated his encounters and time with him. Con’s: Communication can be slow and tedious. Reports and meeting platforms are outdated and archaic. Administrative constraints show through outdated system processing and procedures, which led to multiple errors. Conclusion: Would highly recommend this facility for troubled youth. Benchmark needs to update its system platforms and EMR to the current decade to better serve its staff and clients.

Ill tell u this place in my perspective as a former person her. So if I can remember right there was like 6 units where they would keep kids in. They all were for diffrent reasons I think. But I was first put into discovery didnt really like that unit because I was bullied alot I would talk to the staff and some wouldn't care but thats fine. But some did. So I talked to my therapist to move units and they did it pretty fast. I moved to uh its a hard name but the kids would call it the "sped unit" 💀😭. But anyways it was kinda chill there everyone was nice. Alot kf weird kids though. Can't name their names it would be hippa but yeah. The staff their on the one unit were kind im not sure if I can name staff but I want to because how much they helped me. Tonya was really kind and always welcoming and there was Kevin strict but he understood what was going on. Chris the therapist was helpful. Also Zack the person who did packages was always busy 💀 I ordered alot of packages. I also heard they did a remodel on the bathrooms but I left to early to see them. Also Taylor was pretty chill. Ill add on this review when I remember more byeee also if your seeing this im davin there was also faith who was super kind. And there was a girl i called cherry i forgot her real name. But all the staff were kind the kids were weird. What more can u ask for.

Thank you for caring for my son and teaching him some valuable, lifelong skills. I have no doubt in my mind he will succeed. All the staff have been very communicative, show empathy, and are well engaged in children's treatment plans. Benchmark goes well above any facility that I have worked with. My son was at Benchmark for 9 months for behavior issues, depression, anxiety, drug use and attempted suicide. I was so very impressed with the care he received while he was in there. The staff was amazing! They kept me involved in every step of his care. They kept me informed with not only the problems but the progress he was making as well. My son said his experience at Benchmark was life changing for the better. There are negative reviews and I guess this is the people who either didn't stay involved with their son's care or their son didn't chose to do well and follow the program because there is no other explanation. Thank you Benchmark for what I feel is saving my son's life and helping him find a whole new outlook on life!!

I would give this place negative star ratings. They allow their staff to be alone with multiple kids by themselves for hours and NOTHING changes when it is brought up to higher ups. You can't keep the kids safe nor staff. This places needs to be better and do better. They also treat their good staff like garbage but the crappy staff great. The state needs to do some checks here.

The staff that care deserves more than one star ie his counselor and case manager. But Mary you are a despicable human being. To tell me to remain calm to whatever my son may tell me, down to “I thought we agreed no more visits”. It is my right to check on the wellbeing of my son, after I received a monitored phone call from him (staff plus supervising staff were listening to his phone call) about being in an altercation with two other boys and staff pulling him by his hair to separate them. They try and make you believe your child is bad when they are struggling. Mary told me my child was manipulative before telling me to remain calm from whatever I may hear. Benchmark these kids may be your pay check but they are your future. I didn’t listen to the reviews either, but please take this as a warning. It was by the grace of God that my child wasn’t court ordered and I could protect him. Think of how many kids cannot protect themselves or have anyone to fight for them, so Mary can do as she pleases with them. Investigate this place and get rid of the ones that don’t care. It’s not hard to see
