Terrible. Initial session was 30 minutes, billed insurance for 45. Was told that they would see me every week and schedule me over the phone, never got a call. Avoid this place. It seems like they treat the therapists poorly as well. Update: apparently this place also bills your insurance for visits that never happened as well. Total scam. Avoid avoid avoid
I’ve been going to this clinic for 20 years .It was St Francis clinic at the beginning. The nurses were all nuns. It was a nice place. It still is. I live in the area and it’s close. I like my Doctor, but appointments are 2 weeks or longer to get in.
Started my new mental health path
If you have serious mental health issues, do not go here. I waited 3-4 months for my intake appointment and had to wait another 2-3 months to start and finish group therapy. When I finally got out the therapist who they linked me to, quit her job. I finally had an appointment, and I have never felt so disrespected. The therapist on the other line seemed so disinterested and so vague. She didn't seem like she cares at all. I couldn't even finish one session. I had to hang up on her cause I was baffled at her level of care. The group providers were great but I have talked to so many people and only one other receptionist showed care of compassion when speaking with me.
I had 2 brain surgeries this year and one 3 weeks ago- I was told my therapist was leaving 5weeks ago and not to worry they would work beforehand to set me up with another therapist telahealth one as I can’t drive as it would be illegal due to health issues. My last one was telahealth same issue Of course it’s all about excuses- I was placed with a person who doesn’t due telahealth and was told I needed to drive to Garfield park- this firm seems very uncaring and blames everything on Covid STILL , and your mental health seems to last on their list-as they spend most of the conversation on poor them as 4 more therapists quit- well maybe it’s pay? Just not a firm you can count on- I was told again to call back in 7 days- thanks for nothing I hope Ascension grabs all your clients as you can’t handle them. And the least among us suffer due to incompetence and greed.
