Set just north of the Missouri Bootheel, Bootheel Behavioral Health in Sikeston treats clients of all ages, including couples, with mental health and any co-occurring substance use disorders. With outpatient and community-based services, Bootheel helps individuals find stability through personalized care and evidence-based treatment in a supportive setting. Bootheel calls its youth program “Elev8” to reflect the support it provides with emotional, behavioral, and attention-related challenges. In four years, I have been on my 4th therapist. They all have quit. One quit and took a lower paying job. This company must be hard to work for. I see Christy now and I am very dissatisfied with her and her personality. I thought they were supposed to help me but instead she makes me feel worse.

I am absolutely infuriated with the sheer incompetence of this office. My SO needs her medication through this horrid place and they continue to reschedule her appointments without telling her therefore resulting in her not getting her meds. This is causing a horrible effect on her mental health and is ruining any progress she had ever made. She drives a long way to get there and even showed up one time and told her "welp your therapist is not here, we rescheduled you". This most recent time, they rescheduled her TWICE WITHOUT TELLING HER. I am amazed this place is even in existence due to the absolute lack of care they offer. My SO is just trying to do her best without her medication now and she cannot get them because of this office. It is extremely difficult to try and live normal when you don't get treated for your problems and this office is effecting my SO life negatively because they can't do their job. I'd give this place a zero if I could. If you're going to reschedule a patient, CALL THEM AND TELL THEM, AND GET THEM THEIR MEDS AT THE LEAST. This office needs to be shut down. Do better.

I was dealing with severe PTSD with night terrors on top of my anxiety and fear of my then husband and this place saved me. Mrs. Emily is who I see and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER! When my dad passed away I didn’t want to do anything especially go to the doctor but she was so concerned about my health that she FaceTimed me for my appointment because it was very important I was seen by her after just losing my dad from suicide. I love this place and can not thank them enough!

If I could give this place a zero I would. I will be reporting this place to the state. Your program at the hospital is a joke. Your crisis worker was a joke and didn't take what my child was going through seriously. Southeast Missouri has does not have enough resources for proper Mental Health Care has it is. I do not recommend this place or their program through Missouri Delta Hospital!!!!!!!!

This is a wonderful place with wonderful people.. they are my heroes..I was on a very destructive road before I came here and they saved my life..I believe if it wasn't for boothill counseling I wouldn't be alive today.. they have always been kind and caring.. I recommend them to everyone.. just remember you have to want to be helped for it to work... the staff are wonderful.. the clubhouse is amazing..I can't say enough but I only get to say so much.. thank you boothill counseling for helping me and making me realize that I do matter..
