I can't say enough wonderful things about Derek Besing! He is hands down the best podiatrist at Good Samaritan Hospital. His expertise and dedication to his patients are truly unparalleled. What sets Derek apart is not just his exceptional medical skills, but his genuine care and compassion for every individual he treats. He takes the time to listen to your concerns, thoroughly explains your condition and treatment options, and ensures you feel comfortable and confident in your care. Derek's bedside manner is outstanding. He has a warm and friendly demeanor that puts you at ease immediately. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients' well-being, both physically and emotionally. Thanks to Derek, I'm back on my feet and feeling great. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of podiatric care. You won't find a more skilled, caring, and genuine professional anywhere else. Five stars all the way!

Worst hospital most of the staff are very rude. The staff will under or over medicate depending on their "mood". Not all the staff is horrible there have been a few that are awesome but they miss a lot of diagnosis that they should have gotten earlier and they use the "plausible deniability" everytime they make a mistake or something sudden and/or unexpected happens. Its been like this for over 20 years or more! They don't care about you once you get old, and if you aren't old and have "problems" they typically make it worse.. the fact that they treat people the way they do and a small community is held to 1 hospital simply because it is the only option needs to change and they need to be held accountable for their practices and malpractice.

I was pleased with the care that my wife received from Dr. Miller with her initial hip replacement surgery. However I am completely disappointed with the hospitals ability to coordinate with insurance in a timely and proficient manner. My wife is scheduled to have her other hip replaced in a few weeks and it is deja vu all over again. We received a phone call literally less than 24hrs from her scheduled first surgery because they did not have pre-cert approval and by the time we got everything settled my wife had to wait a year just to get it done. Now with her second one finally scheduled we are seeing the same thing all over again. She was scheduled for her pre-op procedures for tomorrow morning and we find out today that they have been cancelled because they do not have pre-cert approval. After speaking with my insurance I found out that they did not even submit the request until two days ago even though it has been scheduled for over 2 months. After several phone calls I was able to get her back on the schedule for tomorrow but not until late in the afternoon. So because of that we have both wasted vacation days from our work because they can't get their act together yet again. This is just another reason why after we get this next procedure done I never plan to use this hospital again if I can avoid it!

Amy Ethridge and her staff gave my mom exceptional care during her 10 yr battle with cancer . They always had medical records and made phone calls to help us navigate this difficult situation. I was very aggressive and demanding and Amy and staff went above and beyond to help . We went to much better facilities and were not as pleased as we were with our local care ! Thanks for all your help !

I have nothing but praise for my stay at Good Sam. Everyone was awesome. A special thank you for all that put up with me on 3rd floor Give them a big hug.

God awful hospital! The minute I try bringing up a bill that mysteriously got an extra almost 300 charge, they start giving me attitude and try to deny any form of the original payment! We in freaking USA, we already are struggling with gas, now hospitals want us to have to struggle even more? Over 3000 dollars plus whatever else they’re gonna “mysteriously” charge me, and all they did was give me a 10 minute talk to see if Im feeling good! All because the College didn’t just let me go to counseling and instead made me have to endure this . And keep me there for several hours! Never going there again! Please give us the option for negative rating! We already are struggling to find jobs as is!

The staff and everyone in Endoscopy was wonderful. Kind, helpful I appreciate them for making a yucky experience ok.
