In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.

Treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders, which affect the majority of individuals diagnosed, integrates care for mental health conditions with primary substance use. Personalized care plans are crafted to effectively address each condition simultaneously, optimizing the healing process.

Pathway literally changed my life. I had been on drugs for the last 15 years of my life, was in a victim mentality, and had so many undiagnosed issues. I worked through my trauma, did the geniologity tests. I was undiagnosed for the longest time and as soon as I got the results, everything in my life clicked. From that point on everything changed. Tina, as all of the other therapists were amazing. Since leaving the program, I have been employed full time for a year, built a strong connection with my family for almost 2 years (which hasn’t happened since I was 11(, and have been in a lease in an apartment for almost 2 years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROGRAM. LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE!!!! FOREVER GRATEFUL!!!!!
I would highly recommend coming here if you are looking for help. I believe the trauma approach saved my life. I had so much respect for Josh & Tina(along with all the other wonderful staff). They treat you like a real person not just a client. They cry with you, really heal with you. The group settings each day really help you heal. Ketamine was a scary therapy to me in the beginning but afterwards I would only feel comfortable doing it here with doc & all the other specialists there.
We attempted to sign up a family member for support and treatment. We made contact with a coordinator who assured us we would receive a call from Michelle Amerman, the CEO. When that didn't happen, we made contact two more times and were assured Michelle would call, though she did not. We reached out to Michelle directly and never heard back. Meanwhile, the family member's crisis continued.
If you are struggling with substance abuse, addiction, mental health, trauma, Pathways is the place to be. Since my time at pathways I have been given a whole new outlook on life, the staff is full of the kindest and most caring individuals you'll ever meet. They've gone above and beyond to make a difference in my life. Both the inpatient and outpatient programs are incredible and for me were absolutely needed. They have truly made a deep and lasting impact on my life and I cannot express how grateful I am to the wonderful therapists and staff members. They have honestly saved my life. I have made so many incredible changes in my life and I owe it all to Pathways. If you are struggling and don't know where to get treatment, you've found the right place, go to pathways and you will not regret it.
Tina is quite possibly the worst therapist ever. Instead of attempting to explain her therapeutic method in ways that would make sense, she said "I don't know why you're even here then" as I couldn't understand the concept. The groups are very unstructured and usually consist of the same people speaking over everyone else, not offering helpful, equal care. (Yoga Chelsey was fantastic though, it truly felt like she took her time to make everyone feel seen and heard. Even if it took more time than expected, I think it's great for everyone to be able to express what they're dealing with if they wish.) There is absolutely no monitoring of vitals with Ketamine treatment there, which is pretty much the standard most places. However, they did offer GeneSight testing which gave me lots of great insights. Every therapist and psychiatrist I have seen since then has said there are major red flags throughout Pathways, especially affecting treatment (which btw costs ABSURD amounts)
The Pathways inpatient facility gave me more than physical safety and care—it gave me something I had never truly known before: true emotional safety. The entire staff worked together to help me grow in the three areas of life that must be engaged—mind, body, and spirit. I walked in carrying a heavy prejudice against all men, but it was three men in particular who ended up aiding me the most, showing me that at our core, we really are all just human. My main therapist, Daryl, guided me through reshaping my mindset and digging into my past to uncover my deepest wounds. He stood by me on one of the most emotionally painful days of my life, and I will never forget Destiny—one of the incredible nurses—literally running after him as he was about to head home, just so he could be there for me in that moment. Dr. Sellers provided me with the best medical care I could have asked for. He never rushed through visits, always taking the time to explain not just what he was doing, but why—making sure I understood and felt safe with my treatment. I also want to thank Dawn, a powerhouse nurse who believed in my strength even when I couldn’t see it myself, and who pushed me to rise to the challenge. Michael Ryan gave me the gift of faith and clarity in my higher power. He challenged me in ways I desperately needed, helping me confront the destructive core beliefs that caused me so much suffering and turn them upside down. He gave me the tools to question my own thoughts, and to approach them with both curiosity and compassion. Somehow, even in the middle of facing the hardest truths, he still managed to make me laugh and feel safe. I would also like to thank Lonnie, whose powerful meditation sessions left a deep impact on me. His encouragement meant so much because it came from a place of such authenticity. To all of you—thank you not just for changing my life, but for teaching me how to truly live it to the fullest.
There are many wonderful organizations and people in service to helping others with treatment and recovery. For me, the right fit was, is, and will continue to be Pathways. These folks are authentic in their desire to help change lives. They are some of the most remarkable humans I have been blessed with coming across in life. They are talented and skilled, and well equipped to meet mental health and substance abuse needs. They are particularly experienced with integrating well-rounded trauma focused treatment, using a variety of evidence based treatment modalities. Pathways staff AND clients create a safe space of healing and growth, and a place of acceptance and belonging, and without judgement. As a pathways client, I feel a sense of unity, community, and unyielding support. Pathways has LITERALLY saved my life. They have helped me find healing, and open doors to change my life. They have equipped me with the confidence, strength, tools, and understanding of my root influences to my recovery needs to live a new life, my best life! A life of healing and happiness I have never experienced before. I will be in eternal gratitude for this very sacred organization. Schedule a consult... you have nothing to lose and only a healthy and happy life to gain. You are not alone. There IS hope!
The program overall is solid. The therapist team really care about you and want to see you improve. Don't expect group to start on time and don't expect the therapists to wrangle patients who cause us to go off topic. The doctor here doesn't respect your time, you'll wait 1-2 hours after your scheduled appointment to be seen. Communication is lacking. I got told multiple different things before I was ultimately given an end date. It's frustrating and disheartening, but it seemed like they just wanted me out because I had a job and was in school so I must be okay.
