I have been a patient here for several years and I can't say enough about how great everyone is here. Dr. Eckard is knowledgeable and understanding, Tom Trent is a wonderful therapist who is open minded and funny. If you put it the work, they will too! The front office staff is also great, shout out to Lorna for all she does! There's not a better place to go in this county. They accept a lot of different insurance plans, they treat many types of mental illnesses and use a variety of new and tried and true techniques for treatment.

I called 3 times first time no answer. Second time someone picked up the phone then hung it right back up. Third time they answer and seemed unenthused. If you dont wanna do your job just quit.

Dr or should I say PA Carrie Long is someone I had seen for 8 years until i wanted to go off my narcotic medication. This started a strange reaction throughout the office which started with Carrie. She was very unprofessional and after my appointment didnt even bother to make me another appointment which she had done consistently since day on So I had to call Hooiser Uplands which is over Serenity Now to even get a response from anyone there. I got a phone call from someone named Tom which I believe is over Carrie and the staff and talked to me about the situation. I told him at this point I didn't even want to see Carrie or come back to the office. The staff that checks you in and out and makes appointment are uneducated or under educated/rude/make false promises just like Carrie. I would avoid working with this clinic altogether. Office Manager is the worst !! 8 years was enough of this circus !!

My name is Jeremiah. I used to be a client. I will honestly say the doctor and the front desk staff performed their jobs quite well. I give a 1 star for the therapist, Tom. I've suffered a severe depression for years for many reasons. I would talk to him about people who badly hurt me in past years, such as EX Relationship family members, and he would always DEFENED them! Like he just wanted to convince me that I deserved to be mistreated! He shouldn't be a therapist. And I had just recently heard a similar story to another persons encounter with him as well!

Hello, I'm batpoop crazy but I've been going to serenity now off n on now for 13+ years. I've had ups n downs, good and bad experiences. Therapists are always great, my current therapist makes me feel welcome n not like a patient. All my therapists over the years have been great. I've not dealt with Dr Eckerd much and I've never seen the other lady bc I don't get meds. Great for therapy and counseling.

Dr.John Eckard doesn't listen and I had a terrible experience. I was suffering. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Only thing good about it was my therapist she was very understanding. Now I understand why there are so many bad reviews about this place . I've never given a bad review about anyone or place in my life. Think twice about going there. I have canceled all future appointments and let them know how I feel about it .

If I could give a zero I would!! Worst place for someone who has severe mental health and needing help!! They are to strict on the attendance and don’t work with anyone. You explain the situation but it doesn’t matter to them!! I canceled late due to emergencies I had, the. The last time I lost my phone and was unable to due my telehealth appointment. They tell you they are with you for thirty days after being discharged but they can’t help due to you being removed from receiving the help you need. Also they can cancel on you the last minute for any reason but when it’s the other way around, it’s a bath record for you!! It has also been hard to get refill on medication I need u til I can find somewhere else to get the help I need!! I really wish someone would deal with this place!! Reasons like this are why people don’t feel comfortable getting help and instead take their own life to be free and at peace!! It seems like the better option!

This place gatekeeps medical care. I have a known psychiatric diagnosis that needs medication to manage. Their hours are not helpful to anyone that works and I had a work emergency as a nurse come up that prevented me from attending a therapy session. Because of their policy that you must see a therapist twice before they will let you see the NP for medication I am now waiting another month before I get the care I need after I was already waiting since February because they take so long to get into.
