True North Treatment Center Owensboro

Amazing resource for the community. The staff there are amazing and completely committed to providing the best treatment for each individual. Owensboro has some of the most extensive treatment facilities I have seen and much needed as we are facing a great need in the tristate area. Anytime I encounter someone seeking resources for recovery I always refer them to True North.

If i could rate this place 0 stars i would said i didn’t want to participate in a card game i was told to exit the room then a staff member started calling my mom twisting absolutely everything out of proportion and lying for her own entertainment i was assigned there to get my child back and she told me that everything was going to be reported to the court she was so pissed that i didn’t want to participate in her card game that she decided she was going to lie to the court it was a fully grown lady with brown hair that works downstairs i am only 17 there 100% should NOT be people like this working with children with trauma and other issues doing things like that for your entertainment is sick and twisted i generally hope they get better staffing this is disgraceful

I've been to a lot of therapists, one of the worst being Magan Millsaps. She was absolutely ridiculous from the start and finally berated me right before she decided we weren't a good fit for each other. When I asked to speak to her supervisor, I was never allowed to do so. I would highly recommend seeking treatment somewhere else.

It's against policy nit aloud to say the other names or show them on camera in the sober living house? How that can be against the policy of the place?

I have been going here for roughly two years and by far the most comfortable I've been at any form of drs office, I feel heard and understood. I have now see 3 different people (therapy,meds, and counseler) at this office and haven't had a bad experience

TrueNorth has a team of caring and dedicated staff. They walk with the client on their journey and truly listen and partner with them. Their therapists treat the whole person, rather than just the symptoms. They are an asset to the community and I would highly recommend their services.

I would NOT recommend True North for any Mental illness/trauma that goes for my adult self, teenager's and definitely NOT kids!
