Avoid for your safety and own well being. This place will make you feel worse. I didn't even get to the appointment. First interaction I had, phone staff were unprofessional and had zero compassion. No introduction, no name. She barked "you need to fill out your paperwork" I politely said I had done so days prior. She checks and says, "oh here it is." So you had to bark out all that attitude, when you didn't even check first? Then continued to rudely rattle off more information that didn't apply to me. When I tried to say something she didn't acknowledge it. How can we trust you with our health with the unprofessionalism and disorder? No apology. Straight assumptions. Nobody wants to be there. It's a one size fits all facility. Gaslighting when you bring up the concerns of disorganization and unprofessionalism. We're hurt and uncomfortable when we come here. How does that fly in this kind of environment. If your staff is this narcissistic they shouldn't be here.

This place is awful, they dont even deserve 1 star in my opinion.... they will only call in one month of meds at a time. And even at calling a week or week in a half before running out of your meds... you have to go without meds because still no refill called in. That is just unacceptable. Your dealing with people that are trying to get their mental health issues on a more level status... kind of hard to do when your patients can't continue on a med without having to stop because they can not get it filled. And even when a patient has an appointment and there told during appointment refills are needed.... patient will still have to call a few days later about them sending in refills. Do not recommend this place ... your mental health is not important to this place. Truly this place is why mental health has become more of an issue in people.

Horrible don't go here and definitely don't take your kids here. No one ever knows what's going on. The therapist used our child as their own therapist talking about their own issues instead of letting them talk. They cancel appointments without contact and then you show up and they tell you their closed so you go home just to get a call asking why you didn't show? What a joke!

Yvonne is my skills trainer and I truly believe that she is an angel from God. I have struggled with wanting to live for a long time. It's been so hard for me to heal and to want to move forward in my life. And she is absolutely one of the reasons that i'm choosing to continue healing. She is extremely skilled, educated, and seasoned. You can tell this is her calling!

These people don’t help you. They judge you, say they’ll order more tests and never put the orders in. My son was also referred to a counselor through school and they refuse to call me or the school back.

In the middle of a mental health crisis, called twice for an appointment and WAS HUNG UP ON twice. I only asked to schedule an appointment, immediate disconnect. In this day and age, everything we know about mental health now and how critical it can be, this kind of treatment is unfathomable. If it was a matter of technical problems, they really should have made an effort to call me back, which they didn’t. It’s shameful.

Maybe I do need a pill to help me with my recovery. My therapist was crazy awesome and I am going to do whatever it takes to not relapse.

i’ve been going here just for a psychiatrist for about a year. in that time they have switched psychiatrists at this office 3 times. the first person i saw was AWFUL she did not care about me or my health and she was a MAJOR name brand pill pusher (that’s where all the money is). the second person was nice enough but i only saw her once before she left. the current psychiatrist seems ok i’ve only had one appointment with her at this time, she was kind and patient but almost tripled my medication after i said i felt over medicated so that was interesting. i have never met a good counselor/therapist at the bowen center so i go to an independent therapist. the general vibe i get from this place is that the staff is mostly friendly, but most of them don’t REALLY care. for a doctor of psychiatry or a licensed therapist, they are very cold and opinionated. office is very hard to get ahold of especially for medication refills. i don’t want to hate too much but truly the only reason i go here is because there isn’t another psychiatrist within 50 miles of me that takes my insurance.
