Customized Detox Residing in Los Angeles, Valley Detox Center offers a customized residential detox program that specializes in opioids, painkillers, drugs, and alcohol. Their mission is to provide maximum comfort while undergoing a somewhat uncomfortable process to begin the journey towards recovery. Research shows using medications during detox is successful. They have Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), like Suboxone, Subutex and Vivitrol options for opioid detox. A variety of other therapies and treatments may also be used to decrease the discomfort of withdrawal symptoms. Hotel-Like Amenities Spacious and comfortable, Valley Detox Center’s facility is designed to provide little stress and distraction outside the detoxification process. There is a pool with a waterfall and grotto and an outdoor grill area. They have an on-site chef that prepares nutritious meals, as this is an important part of the recovery process. They also offer free haircuts, manicures, and pedicures. They are accredited by The Joint Commission and accept many types of private insurance.

I don't know what happened to my review. It somehow disappeared. And if you notice, many of these 5 stars are from random accounts exactly 4 months ago at the same time. They did a LOT of harm to me, I work in treatment and have been sober 2 years. They told me I was on detox two weeks in and to not go to group because I was on detox. Then, they came at me saying I wasn't going to group so I was then kicked out on the street literally as a 100lb female. When they initually picked me up, I was intoxicated, having worked in treatment- it's kind of to be expected. The driver pulled over and left me on the side of the road alone in the middle of the night and drove off. The next day, I made the poor decision to try again with them. After kicking me out, they had the audacity to call me and invite me to come back. Insurance always pays more for detox. Interesting huh? They put really vulnerable people in dangerous situations and are extremely shady. Please do not put yourself or a loved one here.
