Great facilities, amazing staff and I would recommend this place to anyone who needs help

I really like how the staff was accepting and laid back and respectful also the groups was amazing and very helpful with the beginning stages of my journey and after care. Also it didn't feel like my 1st treatment center. Thank y'all so much and here's a big up to y'all for the help... Toine

Being at Allendale was one of the best and empowering experiences in my life. Not only did their care help me get sober, but also helped me find myself.

Having a loved one in a crisis situation is hard. The Allendale team of providers made coming into care as easy as possible, in this situation, that it could. As my loved ones emergency contact, I recieved a courtesy call letting me know that they had been admitted. After that, I was allowed to call the nursing staff to check on their status. The nursing staff was always compassionate and caring. Helping me get through the healing process as well. The Behavioral Health Techs were also very professional and very caring. I can't say enough about the professionalism of the entire team at Allendale - Auburn. I would be remiss to mention how wonderful the clinical staff is. Timothy Rapson, the Clinical Director, is amazing. He facilitated counseling sessions and offered excellent ways to cope in a healthy manner. As a family member of a loved on in care in Allendale, I am so appreciative of all they have done for us! God Bless!

Been there about 3 times inpatient and everytime just keeps getting worse as does the food, staff, the way they treat us wrong at our most desperate vulnerable moments even though their jobs are to have compassion and some sort of understanding for what we're going through. But instead of letting the patients speak in groups it's mostly the councilor talking about her life. Not to mention I've had family drop off 100$'s of items, essentials, that i never received or was i ever compensated for.

Allendale was a nightmare. I was left to detox off opiates & benzos with nothing for 4 days. This can be life threatening. There is no separate detox place either, and there are 3 people to a room. The nurses are unqualified & showed zero compassion. No one's asking anyone to feel sorry for them, but shouldn't you like your job at least a little? The nurses looked up patients on social media and printed things from their pages. This is highly illegal. The food is gas station quality, full of preservatives and chemicals. They give you free cigarettes. How can anyone truly detox with garbage food and cigarettes? A patient jumped out a window one night & the staff failed to circulate for over 3 hrs, so the patient got away. Staff tried to blame the patient's roommates. They wave ketamine treatments in everyone's faces, and use ketamine as a bribe to make people go to pointlessly redundant groups and take medications-even though every patient has the right to refuse a medication. Several grievances were filed during my stay there from multiple patients. The "coordinator" was a very snotty young girl, who did everything she could to make every interaction as uncomfortable as possible. She ended up being fired for reasons I do not know. Every time something happened, more privileges were taken from the patients, even though if the staff were truly as dedicated as they are supposed to be, these incidences (people escaping, people having sex, etc) wouldn't have happened. Unsafe environment. Would never recommend.
