Two months of wasted hope and time. I waited 6 weeks for the intake call. Was completely steered to another program with vague details. Ruby, was admittedly a fast talker, and she assured me I would get a recap of our conversation so that I could better understand the implications (ultimately a lot more medicine than anticipated). I never got the "recap" but after another 8 days, was sent materials and wiring instructions for payment for a program I wasn't even sure was right for me, and never received an understanding for. When I had legitimate concerns and asked for clarity regarding medications, my text was answered 7 hours later stating "she was administering medication and could she message me in a few hours?", I responded of course, but since I was in EST, that would have her communicating with me well after midnight. Well, no problems there, because she never ended up reading my text or responding at all and it's now been a week. I'm not sure of the expectation here. Was I to pay the funds first to get answers to ensure I was medically safe or being led to the appropriate program? Why was the website on this exact program (the one I was led to) updated the day after my call, yet not relayed to me personally? Critical information that should have been relayed! Are they so understaffed that intake personnel are otherwise occupied administering medication so they are unavailable to answer questions for medical safety for new clients? I was so excited and hopeful, but that has turned into being eternally grateful that I was not so desperate, or dumb, as to hand over $11k + blindly putting my faith into this organization who couldn't care less about responding or ensuring the client was well informed. I'm glad Ibogaine got the well deserved attention from the Waves and War documentary, but now I can only draw my own conclusions. Either they are way over their heads because their clinic was featured in the documentary, or the only clients that receive the info they need to make an informed decision are high vis clients that can help boost their business. Yes, I think our Vets deserve treatment far more than I, but the absolute truth is no matter the circumstances of ending up with PTSD, the crippling effects of it is indiscriminate of said circumstances. And if you understand that (which they claim to do), how do they think the experience of having hope for relief seemingly within reach, only to be left completely stunned, saddened and wondering what the heck happened simply because I asked a question and advocated for myself, would ultimately leave one feeling? Technically, I am still scheduled to arrive March 5th. So, in case anyone is paying attention, you can go ahead and cancel my stay. To anyone who has experienced the same...you matter too, hang in there, and don't give up. Give up on the clinic, not the hope that Ibogaine can help you too. God bless

I am shocked at how unprofessional this place is. When I talked to them on the phone I wasn't freely offered any information on the facility, the staff, etc. It was just "What questions do you have?" answered with extremely vague statements. It felt as though there was a script she had to stick to and couldn't give out actual information. Very rude, abrupt answers with dead silence after every question. She would not give out any more information that what I asked. I didn't feel like was getting the truth and I felt extremely uncomfortable. I had high hopes for this place, but now I can cross this one off my list.

The experience I had at Ambio is one of grace and miracles. I left in a state of peace, oneness, connectedness, and wholeness that language falls short of articulating. The team, expertise, attention, and care to every dimension of healing was extraordinary. The experience of perfection in every detail, from food, space and comfort, theraputic and group conversations to share intentions and process, as well as the integrity of the medical support surpassed all expectations. I encourage you to say yes to the healing - the value I got is immeasurable.

My experience at Ambio was truly life-changing. I came to Ambio November 11, 2025, at a time when I felt like an empty shell of myself — 10 years clean from opiates, but still struggling internally, feeling unfulfilled, disconnected, and unsure of who I really was.
