In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.
The highest level of care, medically managed with 24-hour nursing and physician care in a residential or medically-based setting, and can include any combination of medication, counseling and therapy.
Treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders, which affect the majority of individuals diagnosed, integrates care for mental health conditions with primary substance use. Personalized care plans are crafted to effectively address each condition simultaneously, optimizing the healing process.
Absolutely the best rehab experience of many! Feels like home and a family they truly care and the program taught me a lot! Counselors are great! Has a professional music studio! Everything is upscale! Thank You so much Vanity

We heard a lot of horror stories from friends and family about sending children here. Our son desperately needed help and we sent him praying for the best. It far exceeded our expectations. They were very good about keeping us updated with his progress. He was allowed to call home each day for 10 minutes which we liked, so he could stay focused there. They did a very professional discharge and supplied us with everything needed to get him back into school. It was better than we could've expected. We wanted to say thank you to everyone in the staff. We hope the groups he participated in will be beneficial to him moving forward in life. Thank you again!
Stay far away from this place. I brought my son here a few months ago because his school counselor recommended it. As soon as we arrived, I noticed how filthy everything was the walls, floors, chairs, and even the restrooms. After a brief conversation with my son, an older staff member said, “Okay, we’re admitting him.” I asked, “For what?” and she couldn’t even give me an answer. It feels like they admit people for the most unnecessary reasons. Parents, if you truly believe your child does not need to be here, trust your instincts and remove them. This place is extremely depressing.
Going to be honest, it's a hospital. It is going to suck, it is going to be hard, it isn't Disneyland. And that is okay, it's here for stabilization, not long-term care. And it may suck now, but it is like the ICU/stabilization unit of healthcare. Not meant to last forever, focused on keeping you alive. This hospital has saved my life, and friends and family members lives too. Just because it is mental health doesn't make what they are doing any less important. Their facility is clean, the staff care, and they will do everything they can to keep you alive and find the right care for when you get out. Facilities like these save lives everyday and I owe Mesillia Valley my life, and many others feel the same way. I have one piece of advice for fellow patients, try to stay out of here, if you need to go here, go here. Get help, because you are far too loved and important to leave this world. The staff and orders may seem odd, but they are here to help you. You may not see it now, I certainly didn't for a few years. But with time you will. The staff are good people, they are trained professionals and they know what they are doing. You'll get through this. <3 -To any other struggling teen/person out there who needs to see this.
I was never here but two of my friends got sent here. There were spiders in the bed, and termites climbing out of the walls actively. The whole unit complained, the staff said “there too little to bite anyway” The staff was completely rude and the whole unit started fighting the staff. They would not allow calls to parents or loved ones, and they wouldn’t allow kids to go outside and get some sunlight. If you refused medication they would hold you down and inject it into you unwillingly. They did that to somebody there and my friend witnessed the needle going into one end and poking out the other. They didn’t even hit the vein it went straight through their skin. They took away their coloring supplies and paper refused to give it back because a patient was harming them self with it. Sounds like they need to be watched better. They would come into the room extremely late at night shine lights into your face and stand in the door way watching you sleep. The food was terrible, and would rarely give you water. I recommend if your child needs help do not send them here. The lack of watch and lack of care is insanely low. They told my friend that she was “psychotic” that doesn’t sound likes it’s helping in anyway. I recommend not to send your loved ones here, the lack of communication you’ll have with them is bizzare.
this hospital is a joke. i meant to leave this review a while back as it’s been 5 months but i went here for severe postpartum depression a week after my baby was born, they refused to give me medication because i was pumping despite me literally suffering from severe debilitating sleep deprivation . the staff and nurses didnt seem to give a single care about my condition or needs. i literally suffered the entire time i was here i got to the point where i was begging them to let me out, on top of the sleep depression i already had they were constantly in my room shining a light in my face and i swear they kept it 50 degrees in the first room i had and they only let me have one thin blanket and a tiny pillow and the staff would be laughing very loud in the middle of the night it was impossible to sleep, any way besides all of that i actually gave up my breastfeeding/pumping journey because of this place… the therapist wasn’t worth a crap, the food was absolutely disgusting i wish i could give this place negative stars honestly it was very traumatizing for me to even be there a week. edit: i forgot to mention i had been taking a certain medication outside of here for a long time and they refused to give it to me in here because “its linked to dementia later in life” so yeah i also had to suffer with withdrawals from that on top of everything else!
Upon arrival the doctor immediately changed my medication. He didn’t ask what symptoms I was experiencing. He , his intern and several employees had a grandiose attitude towards the patients and treated us as if we are ignorant , uneducated and trash. The only therapy provided was AA group. I’m not an alcoholic so I wouldn’t attend the groups. A female employee told me I needed to attend the group even if I wasn’t an alcoholic. Who is she to tell me that I need to go to the group? The only thing to do was watch tv or color! Got to go outside 1 time in 11 days! What my insurance didn’t cover I paid out of pocket ( For what?) What is the point of this hospital?
Very pro active and involved in bettering the mental health of our community when no one else is out there to reach out for help amazing staff clean and welcoming and amazing food definitely an improvement from before
I liked it because I made a lot of friends but like they didn't teach me anything but I did love Miss Jackie because you brought me a new pair of sandals and she bought me a hairbrush but I still didn't learn anything so yeah
