Some primary care providers offer mental health diagnosis and treatment. This can prevent patients from developing more serious conditions.
Substance use and mental health can occur simultaneously as co-occurring disorders. Treatment for co-occurring disorders involves therapy and other personalized interventions to address both conditions.

Well went to the clinic, Mike couldn't breathe, they put him in the ER right away, that was good. That was around 10:15 am. They started running tests. Our original clinic appt was 9:15 am, but was double booked so it was changed to 9:45. Around noon in the ER I mentioned he was hungry hadn't eaten, we live an hour away. He is diabetic and had not taken any meds. Finally at 2, still in the ER, food was ordered. Apparently the kitchen lost the order, finally got food at 3 pm. Around 4:30 pm they decided to admit him. I told the staff in ER and in.his room, he had eaten one meal at 3, and still had no meds. He also takes heart medication. I left to go home. The next morning his glucose was 55, low. When I got back the next morning, I found out they never gave him dinner and mome of his medications except insulin last night. No wonder his glucose was low. It did get better after that. He got food meals, staff, doctors, nurses all great. Found out after many tests he had RSV-B. Spent 3 days in the hospital. They were always fast to put results on My Chart so I knew what was going on and all my questions were answered.

This may be the most incompetent hospital around ...when I told them there was something they were missing I was told I could get my own bloodwork done at community labs in missoula. That was the best advice I ever took....they were missing something...nobody at this hospital even reached out to discuss the results of my blood tests. So anyways I had my own tests done and reached out to another provider....worst experience ever from a hospital. All because of low vitiman d (which they didnt even test for)... I'll tell you what though...the one thing you don't want to do is miss a payment with them. Terrible experience.

They charged me the full insurance amount for cash pay. Lied and said they tried to bill my IHS and charged me the fullest amount they possibly could. Having only IHS I didn’t expect them to come after me so wholeheartedly for a simple service I am treaty owed. I recommended you find someplace else that won’t try steal from patients and insurance simultaneously. If we’re both paying the bill then someone’s definitely stealing money.

Be careful get an advocate to write down words, A providence mental health doctor lorina forced me to take a medicine that caused harm, I have the evidence to prove it. making the decision to withhold helpful medication unless the patient takes a harmful one could be considered blackmail or extortion. This scenario involves using a threat (withholding necessary treatment) to coerce someone into taking a course of action (taking a harmful medication) that they would not otherwise choose, according to a federal criminal defense attorney. Elaboration: Blackmail, or extortion, is the act of using threats to gain something from someone, says a law firm specializing in federal criminal defense. Threat and Coercion: In this scenario, the threat is withholding a necessary medication, and the coercion is forcing the patient to take a medication that could be harmful. This could be considered a form of blackmail, according to a lawyer. Harmful Consequences: The patient would be at risk of not receiving the necessary medical care or taking a potentially harmful medication, which could have severe health consequences. Ethical Concerns: This is highly ethical concerns for medical professionals. They have a duty to prioritize patient well-being and provide the best possible care.
