Experience Ibogaine Treatment Center

I cannot say enough about Experience Ibogaine Treatment Center and the staff there. I'm not sure my words can truly encompass the amount of love and gratitude I have for the staff and treatment but I'll give it a shot. This is going to be a long one... To start, I did quite a bit of research and reading about Ibogaine and different Ibogaine clinics and wasn't completely sold on the idea. It was after my consultation call with Aeden that I felt at ease and that "gut feeling" was settled and on board. He took the time to explain the process and answer all of my questions. I felt like he was completely upfront, honest, and transparent which is what I was looking for. He also made himself available after the introductory call to answer additional questions and concerns that I had which was great. I made the decision to commit to the process, reserve my date for treatment and buy my airfare, and I was excited. As the date grew closer some nerves were creeping up but the excitement outweighed the nerves. It wasn't until I was standing outside of the San Diego airport with a substantial amount of cash in my backpack waiting for a complete stranger to pick me up that I really felt the nerves again lol. Then Michael pulled up (a driver for the clinic) and got out of the car with what I would describe as that "cool California vibe" to great me and grab my bag. Once again, I felt completely at ease after meeting him. Once I got to the facility and got settled in I met up with Aeden and we chatted about different life experiences which was really cool. It was comforting to meet the person that was on the other end of the phone for that consultation call and all of my follow up questions. I would like to recognize and salute him for his energy and passion that shines through for the work that he is doing. Jonathan, one of the medical staff and the 5Meo-DMT facilitator was truly a special soul in my opinion. I don't know how to quite put it in to words other than to say when you meet someone and you can just feel their kind, caring and gentle energy. That's how I would describe Jonathan. I can't thank him enough for holding space for me during my DMT experience with such patience, kindness, care and safety. One last shout out to Valerie for making a special trip to get me some artisan chocolates! True to form, I was looking for some sweets in the snack area lol, when she asked what she could get me. I told her that I have an insatiable sweet tooth and she replied with "well what do you want!?" She came in the next day with the most beautiful box of chocolates, almost to beautiful to eat...but I took a picture and ate them anyway :) I am only about 2 weeks out from my experience with the medicine and have definitely noticed more "balance" with my mood and no longer have the desire to drink. I appreciate the aftercare follow up integration sessions that are included with the treatment cost. The Ibogaine was the most intense "trip" I've ever experienced but I would absolutely do it again and the same goes for the 5Meo-DMT. All of this to say that I truly felt cared for with love, kindness and respect from the staff here. No words can fully express my gratitude to the staff at Experience Ibogaine. Every team member was professional, highly knowledgeable, and genuinely compassionate. From Aeden to the doctors, nurses, chefs, and support staff, everyone made me feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire process. The ibogaine and 5-MeO-DMT treatments were powerful in their own right. The staff did an exceptional job preparing me, guiding me through each experience, and supporting my recovery afterward. This treatment truly gave me my life back and allowed me to move forward with clarity, purpose, and hope. Experience Ibogaine is a place I would confidently recommend to anyone—not just veterans. It is a truly remarkable organization staffed by extraordinary people. I would especially like to thank Jonathan, who is an exceptional human being. I will definitely be returning to Experience Ibogaine in the future.

I truly feel inspired to write this review after coming from another Ibogaine clinic last week. I’ve been to Experience Ibogaine twice, and both experiences were nothing short of life changing. Unfortunately, I did not adhere to my aftercare programs/meetings as diligently as I should have, and I had another relapse. I would have gone to them a 3rd time, but I was semi embarrassed to ask the owner if I could come back and I also had some issues crossing back into the states at the Mexican boarder as a Canadian. So I went to another Ibogaine clinic to deal with severe depression/anxiety/alcoholism in Playa del Carmen. The staff at Experience Ibogaine treat your withdrawal symptoms and get you stabilized as soon as you arrive. When I arrived at this other clinic, they saw how sick I was, and made me fill out a waiver and had me pee in a cup. Gave me one Valium pill and told me to rest in my room. The nurses should hardly speak any English, the only person who could actually speak English was the supervisor and the first person of contact when you phone the clinic for inquiries. It doesn’t stop there. They gave me a full dose of Ibogaine the 2nd day I was there, even though I still had alcohol in my system the day before. The nurses/paramedic at Experience Ibogaine make sure you are fully detoxed, nutrient replenished and hydrated before you receive Ibogaine, as it’s a very intense medicine, especially on your heart. The other clinic did not have any emergency buttons to press if you need help, so I would have to shout down the hall for help. One of the nurses there also told me my IV drip was working when I could clearly tell it was not, so I had to instruct her to use the needle to push the fluid into my vein so the drip could continue. They also gave me 2 Valium’s while I was on Ibogaine, and looking back, I would not have taken them if I was in my right state of mind because Valium can numb the mental and emotional work of Ibogaine. They also kept asking all the patients to give them 5 star reviews and if they could record you giving a testimonial. For me, they did this right before my Ibogaine treatment, lol. Anyway, the list goes on, all I can say is that if you’re looking to go to an Ibogaine clinic, for your own sake please consider choosing Experience Ibogaine. The nurses, paramedic and owners can’t be topped. They’re number one and I regret not consulting with Aedan before making the poor decision to trust another clinic.

I went to the Experience Ibogaine Treatment Center about 2.5 weeks ago for my PTSD, Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, and Social Anxiety. As of now I've noticed a huge difference in my emotional and nervous system regulation. I feel comfortable around people again and I'm no longer in a perpetual state of fight or flight. This treatment was intense and you have to continue working on yourself after you receive it, but in my opinion it was worth every penny. Also the whole staff provided a safe and loving environment that made me feel comfortable throughout my whole stay. I recommend this treatment if you're truly ready to change your life for the better. I hope to come back some day just to visit and explore the area, it's beautiful there.

Aeden, I want to thank you personally for your mission and providing an affordable option for the less fortunate. Also a special thanks to Johnathon, Micheal and all of the staff at Experience Ibogaine. I wasn’t easy to work with. I am forever grateful and feel connected for life. Living in addiction for 27 years desperately seeking sobriety through traditional recovery, finding it through psychedelic medicine still blows my mind. This was a last ditch effort for me, a leap of faith with hope and prayer. I’m so glad I did it. My only regret is that I didn’t find it sooner. For all seeking a way out of their misery, I can testify that this truly works. I feel amazing and alive again with purpose. Again, thank you. I have so much love in my heart .

I went to Experience Ibogaine over a decade ago, and it saved my life, it gave me a second chance. I was able to revive my relationship with my wife and get my two wonderful children back. I never thought would happen. I was able to get my associates and bachelors degree and landed the perfect career that I'd never dreamed of having. And now we're putting our oldest through college! When I was using I never thought I'd ever be able to afford to put my kids through school. I love Mexico. Such an amazing place with amazing people who helped me get back on my feet. I'm forever in debt to them. I am very ashamed of how many in my own country view and treat these people. Ironicly I'm sure some of these people go down to Mexico to receive this type of help. My life forever changed with my first visit and it's been an amazing ride since! I recently came back for the toad juice (it is free for life for everyone who's gone through the program!).It was great to see the same core team still working together. The name 'Experience' has aged well. I got exactly what I needed from my return. I really needed the refreshment course. And I highly suggest anyone feeling as though they are sinking back into rut, that they return for a free tune up before they find themselves back to square 1. What I love most of about this team is not just their dedication and compassion. It's that every member of has either directly conquered a struggle with addiction or have overcome serious hardships in their lives that make them relatable to all of their patients. They share their lived knowhow for others to replicate the strategy to success. My mind was blown to find out they haven't raised their prices in over a decade! Which was far cheaper than any of their competitors back then. I spoke with Aiden about this and he explained how spending more money and having all sorts of extra add ons in a big mansion statistically does not increase the chance of being more successful. Lining the pockets of entrapeners does not equate to a higher standard of care or outcome. By having lower prices they are able to help far more people who don't have a much money, which are often those who need this the most.He also spoke of working with people on prices and even treating people for free when they are able to. They are incredibly humble, which is the foundation of what sacred medicine is all about. The reason I left a one star review is because more people are likely to read it. Of course I would leave a 5 star review and I apologize to if this hurts your ratings, but I truly feel it's important. Before I came down this time, out of curiosity I searched to see if any of the clinics were still around that I was considering when I was deciding which clinic to go to for my initial treatment. I don't see any of them left. Maybe they just had to change their names for one reason or another, but it seems like the community is not what it was back then. I also noticed that the majority of reviews on these new clinics only go back a couple years. And most of the reviews are very short with often the same words repeated in multiple reviews. Probably local friends and family and not actual clients. I also went to see how far back some of these clinics Facebook posts and YouTube videos go back and it seems like most of them are only a couple years old. I really hope that even though they are new they have high safety standards, integrity and aren't price gouging people in desperate situations with all the new hype circulating. Aiden gave me the real back story on some of their negative reviews, and some of them were hilarious but simultaneously sad.Experience prides itself with dignity. Aiden was explaining how all the recent hype on the internet about ibogaine is full of misinformation that is promoting false hopes to desperate people, and that many clinics are taking advantage of this like a gold rush. He explained how clinics are using a marketing strategy of telling people what they want to hear, instead of what they need to hear. Thanks for everything you guys do.
