1star only because has to give anything to comment. My opinion do not I repeat do not go to this scam of a place if your seeking actual help. They tell you 45 days but when that is up they ship you across the street to grateful life to do another 6 months to a year so they can get more insurance and food stamps. Also, the staff is disrespectful along with it a filthy mental health breakdown of anything but positive environment. Not forget to mentions judges own these facilities! What a joke!

I personally was never here, however my daughter was a client here. She met with her therapist only twice (so there was never a relationship built), never got a family meeting and was pulled to the side and was told her “recommendation” was Brighton. A 6-9 month in patient program. She has a daughter to care for and a life to get back to, she politely declined the offer and they made her leave. My daughter hit ten years of sobriety January 19th of this year, she had a lapse, the recommended treatment they are trying to recommend her is out of this world and completely unnecessary, she got off of heroin without in patient and she is currently clean and sober and I have no doubt she will hit another ten years and will live clean and sober until she leaves this earth. She of course wants to comply until her attorney can get things right for her, but she called Brighton and also went there, they don’t have a file for her, she completed their pre-screen and was told she would get a call and hasn’t heard from them and she has contacted them about it as well. Nobody can give her any answers as to why Brighton was the recommendation, and life learning center who recommended RTC also has no answers as to why she was recommended into long term treatment. Nothing is adding up, and nothing is making sense. She’s getting her life back together and sending her to a program that long is uncalled for and hinders her relationship with her daughter, not to mention she has stable housing and has a job waiting on her. Hopefully this place or whoever is in charge of doing this comes to their senses and can get her into IOP as she is more than willing to do any type of out patient treatment/programs. Her attorney is working to handle this I am sure, but this place seems scammy… Not to mention she also stated she was in there with a few other people who were advised they’d be going home and then last minute switched to also having to go to Brighton, and this was after they had told their families they’d be coming home. Again, seems scammy, are they getting grants for sending people there since it’s a “non profit” organization or what, there’s gotta be an explanation for the complete non sense.

For your own sake, I hope and pray when you read the reviews on this place, don't do what I did and just brush them off as addicts who just aren't taking accountability. This place really just don't care. The big girl with the big chest and loud voice and even louder horrendous laugh, that runs it, is the worst 1 of all, she's is more interested with flirting with the guys working there(whom most are in sober living themselves) than she is interested in helping people get through recovery. I was 1 of maybe 3 other girls who were a self referral, and the only thing they took serious was gossiping about the same people that came to them for help. I never had a bad experience with staff, I just witnessed how they treated people and it wasn't very good. They say it's a 28 day program, that's a lie, and here's the kicker, the counselor's that are supposed to assess you don't decide how long you stay, 28? 30? 48? Noooo, they force you to sign up for KY snap benefits and state insurance and then the insurance company decides how long you shld stay, they know nothing about you, you are only a number in their Pyramid scheme. If you are serious about recovery and not just court ordered to go somewhere,then keep looking. You will not find the help you need here. I could keep on going on reasons why not to go, but it's too much to sit and type out.

This place has never helped anyone. If you want your family to be verbally abused and told theres one way to recover or you'll die by all means take em there. But it's a money racket is all. They force you there, then to glc which is transitions, then sober living and IOP both owned by guess who? Yep ....Transitions. And a lil secret is the owners who act so high and mighty, use clients food stamps to fill their vending machines and then sell them back essentially their own property.

I have gone through RTC impatient program and unlike some reviews I have read, RTC is a great place. For anyone who applies themselves in having soberiety and clarity in their lives. The extent RTC employees will go to for the addict or like myself alcoholic is endless. The resources and the availability for after care is there. The love and compassion shown to me and others from what I seen is limitless. However a person must be willing. They have to be willing to turn their lives over to higher power and to another person by giving away complete control over themselves. I since moved away from N. Kentucky and back to Nashville TN for my own personal reasons. I don't regret taking my first step at RTC. My journey began at RTC and will forever stay with me. I am sober today due to the clinican work through RTC treatment facility and kindness of staff. I'm much more open minded today and realize I don't know nothing until I've done something. Every day I'm doing something new and the best part, I get to be sober. Thank you RTC!!

Personal experience. Alcohol. The situation they put me in was not what I was expecting. Instead of teaching me, they told me. Left after 10 days via the VA system. The VA will never refer to them again. Why was I demanded to sign up for Medicaid and food stamps when I was completely covered and a self referral with insurance and 100% VA coverage. Please look up other rehabs before reaching out to them.

I wish I could rate lower still in shock that this place claims to be any type of helpful for any type of problem a person may have. Was sent here for a 28 day program was mocked and be raided from 1st encounter till they refused to allow me in and without any other word just walked off and left me in the lobby. So I'm now I wait till Monday morning will see my P. O. And see what to do next but tell ya what jail would prolly be better or at least just as good as this place could offer . This is a typical spoiled brat type place that want you to lie to them and they mad if they have to really work but they have such a low rating and it's obviously true from my 1st impression. I feel any other rehab would have to at least match this one . 100,, %
